the next morning

As I wake up, it takes me a while to remember where I even am. I take a quick look around - oh.

Im in the 5 star hotel me and Pedro stayed in last night. And then thoughts of last night start to kick in and I smile.

I tap Pedro on the shoulder to see if he is awake, he is sleeping.

I decide to tap him again, and again until he finally wakes up. But he still doesn't. Ugh.

"Pedrooo its time to wake up", I whisper in his ear.

"Morning", he growns as he falls right back asleep and his head falls into the soft, white hotel pillow.

"Fine, you can keep sleeping", I pout.

Pedro just groans again and I take that as a I will keep on sleeping now leave me alone type thing.

I am surprised he isn't able to get up yet, he is such a morning person.

While I wait for him to wake up, very impatiently I decide to tell Lili about what happened yesterday.

We haven't talked since I left to see Pedro, so im sure she can't wait until I tell her everything.

As I put my phone down, I notice Pedro is starting to wake up. Its about time.

"Morning sleepy" I say as I kiss him on the cheek. "Good morning babe" he replies.

Babe. I like the sound of that I think to myself.

"Since when are you up so early" Pedro asks confused. "Uh since today I guess" I explain.

"Who the hell is awake at 8am" Pedro asks copying the exact words I texted him a few weeks ago.

"HEY! Just because were dating doesn't mean you can copy me!" I tease as I hit him with my pillow.

"Anyways im gonna go get dressed" I say while standing up. "No" Pedro demands. I look at him confused.

"Cant you stay in bed just for 5 more minutes?" he asks.

Although I should probably get ready, I decide to stay. Theres nothing to lose.

"Why not" I say with a grin on my face as I go back into bed, back into Pedros warm arms.

Maybe mornings aren't so bad.
