And here I am again, getting ready to see the random stranger I met on the street, just this time its way harder because my best friend, Lili isn't here to support me and tell me how amazing I look.
Its 11:35 and I haven't even started to do my makeup. Gosh im a total mess.
I start to panic as the doorbell rings, my heart raises by a mile - I have absolutely no makeup on - not even mascara and I am supposed to go out with Pedro, LIKE THIS?
But I cant leave him waiting I think to myself as I walk down the stairs and open the door for Pedro.
"Gosh Pedro im so sorry, I look like I mess and I-"
"You look amazing with or without make up, Anna." he interrupts me.
Did he just say what I think he did? Wow.
"Well I guess im a natural beauty then" I say sarcastically as I start to blush because Pedro is just such a gentleman.
As we both walk down my driveway to Pedros car he suddenly asks "Anna, what do you think of me?" as he stops moving.
"What do you mean?" I answer confused.
"What do you think of me." he repeats.
"To me, your like a famous stranger. There is so much on the internet about you, yet your a complete mystery to me. Thats what I think, Pedro." I say.
The awkward silence begins, this time however, its in a good way.
As we step into the car, Pedro says "One last question and thats it. You do like pancakes. Right?" "Who the hell doesn't?" I laugh.

1 hour later
"Gosh, Ive never eaten that many pancakes in my life, but I would gladly do it again" I say to Pedro just as I finish eating my last pancake.
"I doubt you've ever eaten pancakes that fast either, have you?" he asks to tease me. "Well, who knows" I answer with a smile on my face.
Smiling. Blushing. Getting ready at 11 fucking am? Ive never done that for a man, expect for Pedro. Maybe I do like him.
Maybe me and him can have a future together, maybe.
As me and Pedro get up and leave the All you can eat Pancake Diner, I find the courage to invite him over to my house.
"Hey, me and Lili are gonna do a movie night tonight. Do you maybe wanna join us? You can bring a friend too, unless you have plans then thats also fine." I ask him.
"Sure. Ill bring Oscar. What time? he says without any hesitation.
I sure wasn't expecting that to go so well.
"Uh, 9PM should be good, make sure to bring snacks" I tell Pedro. "Great" he replies smiling. I smile back at him.
Perfect. Everything is perfect.
