I woke up, my throat dryer than the Sahara fucking Dessert. 4 am. I desperately need water right now. I shuffled off of the bed, almost tripping because I hadn't gotten used to how high the bed was.  All I had on was the shirt Terrell gave me, my light blue lacey underwear, and my stupid hospital socks. Wow, great first sleepover outfit with your ex boyfriend. First and only sleepover that is.

It was pitch black, and I activated my impeccable ability to see in the dark perfectly, but that did not work at all. I tried to run the images of his house through my head to map out how to get to the kitchen. I felt the walls, tracing them with my fingertips to make sure I was going the right way. I got to what was supposed to be the entrance of the kitchen and took a step forward, shit. My leg locked and my hands went flailing up and I let out a screech, Right then I felt a strong hand grasp my waist, pulling me up slowly from being murdered by the floor. "That is not a good idea Best Friend."

I straightened my composure after he let go of me and groaned, "Oh my god why do you have to keep saving me from near death situations all the time."

He replied in a jokey, morning voice tone, I can tell he just woke up, "It's cuz you keep puttin yourself in near death situations Vanini. Stop tryna kill yourself and I won't have a reason to."

"Fuck yourself, but thank you."

He laughed a little, "Why'd you even come here for?"

"A girl needed some water so I tried to find your kitchen. It worked but I obviously would have broken my leg."

"Thanks to me you didn't"

I still couldn't see a thing, "Terrell, how the hell do you see this pitch black?"

"You get used to it Vanini, gotta rely on the moonlight."

I stuck my hands out trying to feel where I was pointed, and I felt Terrell's bare chest. I quickly flinched back, "Ah sorry that was an accident."

"Wow you really can't see can you."

"I'm fucking blind right now."

I heard him walk away and open a cabinet, shortly by a few clatters as he probably was looking to pull out a cup. I could hear him fill it up with water then find me again. He took my hand, and I was caught off guard. He slowly grabbed my hand and wrapped it around the glass, then pushed my hands up to my lips. I felt the warmth of his hands hovering around my face as I took sips of the water. Then I spilled some, while trying to imagine what Terrell looked like right now.

I felt him reach for something, probably a napkin, then his face inched closer to mine, I could feel his breathing on my neck while he was wiping the water off. He lowered his hand, brought his other hand up to my neck, tracing it with his thumb so gently. His breathing got harder as his hands traced the edge of my collarbone. What is he doing? My arms filled up with goosebumps and my heart rate increased tremendously. What the hell, please, don't stop.

"Terrell, " I whispered.

He stepped back, "Huh, sorry." He sounded off guard.

Woah. Shit. I quickly responded, "Thank you, I'm going back to bed now. My head is killing me."

I made my way back to the bedroom and wrapped myself around the blanket, it smells just like Terrell. The same smell I remember from five years ago, god he smells so good.

I wake up at about 11 am. I groan and stretch with my eyes closed, sighing and wincing at the pain on the back of my head. Damn you car. I open my eyes and stare up at the ceiling for a moment. Wait, this is not the room Terrell gave me. I sit up swiftly to see him sitting on the sofa, sound asleep. Crap, I fell asleep in HIS room.
