MARINETTE'S POV:

The next morning (Or evening?) I woke up in a bed. Or, at least what I thought was a bed. It was more of a pull out bed. I turned over to face Tikki, almost touching Chat Blanc. I gasped slightly, trying to stay quiet. When did he come in? I studied his features as he slept. I never realized it, but Adrien's hair was longer when he was transformed. His hair was in his face, slightly moving as he breathed in and out. Quietly, I got up, looking for Tikki. She was on the table beside us, her eyes open. She just lay there, almost like she was depressed.

"Good morning Tikki," I whispered, picking her up. She looked up at me, and smiled. I frowned, looking at her. Her color was becoming even more dull, almost black. Her spots, however, had turned white. I hugged her towards me, and just stayed like that.

I felt a pair of arms hug me from behind my waist, and a head on my shoulder.

"I wish you would hug me like that," Chat Blanc muttered, hiding his face in my neck.  I sighed, and let him stay like that. I could feel him hurting, and it broke my heart. All I could think of was my black cat while he hugged me.

He finally let go after a while, and came around to face me. He looked down at Tikki, and I could have swore that I saw a flash of green in his eyes. I stayed quiet though, as he took her from my hands, and whispered into her ear. She opened her mouth, and coughed. I looked up at him, worrying. He held up a gloved finger, and looked down at her.

Tikki floated up, and she looked at me. "Marinette?" She said, testing out her voice. I smiled, bring my hands up to my mouth. She zoomed over to me, and laughed. I laughed too, and hugged her. We embraced each other for a bit, finally separating.

I looked at Chat, as he looked down at the floor. He started to walk out of the room, grabbing the handle of the door. Surprising both him and myself, I hugged him from behind, stopping him from leaving. He turned in my arms, and embraced me full on.

"Thank you," I murmured in his chest. He purred, and only hugged me tighter. I saddened on the inside, for this was just a hard shell over Chat Noir, over Adrien. He sensed it, and pulled me back a little, to look at my eyes.

"What's wrong princess?" He asked.

"Nothing," I said, as I didn't want to anger him.

"Tell me," he urged. I sighed, and looked down.

"Well..." I started, trying to find the courage to tell him. He tipped my chin up, and looked me in the eyes. Again, I saw a flash of green, but longer this time. "Well, it's just that I noticed something."

"And that is?"

"Your eyes..." I trailed.

"Are enchanting? Handsome? Amazing?" He joked.

"Are flashing green." His expression changed from joking to serious, and he scowled. He let go of me, and growled,

"You're messing with me." I sighed, because I know he would act this way.

"No, I'm not," I said, turning around. I didn't want to see him like this. He, however, had other plans. Chat grabbed me by the wrist, and started dragging me out of the room. Tikki followed silently behind.

"You," Chat Blanc growled to Tikki. "Get back in earrings." He held them out, and my eyes widened them. They looked exactly the same as they did before. Tikki disappeared, and he put them in a secret compartment in his staff. I had to remember that.

"As for you," Chat hissed at me, "You will stay elsewhere. That room is now off limits." He kept dragging me, even though I was following him without resistance. We went upstairs, and he pushed me in his room. I turned around to see him slam the door, and rest his head against it. He sighed and composed himself, turning around to look at me.

I shuddered when he looked at me. He may of calmed down, but his eyes still raged. He approached me slowly, and I gulped.

"What do you want?" I asked, backing up. My knees hit the bed, and I fell back onto the bed. I quickly sat up, and scooted backwards. Chat made a quick movement, and grabbed my wrist to keep me from moving more.

Chat didn't answer me, he just searched my face. I looked away, a little uncomfortable. He grabbed my face, a little more rough than I would have liked, and that's when he kissed me. I froze for a moment, surprised. His lips pressed against mine, I relaxed. Usually, I would pull away, but this time was different. Maybe it was because I knew it was Adrien, or I knew he needed this.

I started to kiss back, and we did this for a while. I let him touch my neck and back, melting into him. We finally broke apart, panting a bit.

"Do, do you feel better?" I asked timidly. He didn't answer, just laid his head in my lap. I played with his hair, thinking about what just happened. He closed his eyes, purring slightly. We sat like this, keeping to our own thoughts. Then I remembered the staff and the earrings. If I could at least get mine, I could everything back to normal. I looked back down at Chat Blanc. I was conflicted.

What were we, and what was going to happen?

CHAT BLANC'S POV:

I lay on Mari's lap, closing my eyes as she combed her fingers through my hair. She didn't resist me that time. I felt content for the first time ever. I admit I freaked out a bit when she told me about my eyes, but I convinced myself it was just the light playing tricks. I purred, knowing that it was just her and I.

I can't believed she kissed me willingly. Maybe everything was paying off. Everything I did was for us. I just wanted her to know I loved her. And...

That She Was MINE.
