MARINETTE'S POV:
(For context, Marinette doesn't remember anything. She also doesn't remember Tikki or the Miraculouses, and certain details in her mind had been "edited")
I woke up in my room, like any normal day. Looking around, I stretched and yawned. My heat had a slight ache, but other than that, everything seemed fine. Getting up, I climbed down my ladder, and walked to the bathroom. Turning on the light, I faced the mirror, and squinted. All around my mirror were pictures of me and...Adrien? It looked like Adrien, but this boy had blue eyes. In all the pictures. Weird.
I brushed my teeth and hair in the bathroom, pondering the whole eye color situation, and walked out. Taking a look at the calendar, I saw it was summer. Huh, I thought. I shook my head, my mind feeling foggy. Getting dressed and cleaning up a bit in my room (When did I start a new project with white and blue fabric? I wondered) I went down the stairs to the kitchen. My parents gave me a hug, and we chatted for a while about plans for the day. The weird thing was, they would tell me to visit Adrien quite a few times, and then act all confused, as if they didn't know they were saying it.
Every time I would try to figure out what was going on, my head would would pound. In the end, I would accept it, and my headache would go back to the slight pain. It just felt like there was something... I was forgetting.
After breakfast, I waved to my parents and walked out of the bakery, and looked up. The sky was bright blue, and the sun was shining brightly. I thought about how my parents were acting, and how they kept telling me to visit Adrien. Not only was it them, but I felt like my own mind was urging me to go visit him. It started out as a little thought, and every time I tried to ignore it, the nagging got worse. In the end, I found myself walking towards the Agreste Mansion.
By the time I got there, it had to have been at least half an hour later. I walked up to the gate. I was worried about Adrien's bodyguard and Nathalie. Wait, I thought, shaking my head, Who were they? My brain started to ache again, so I just pushed the thoughts away, and rang button outside the gate. The little camera that always popped out appeared. However, before I got to speak, it retracted, and the gate opened. I stood there for a moment, confused, but continued up the walkway to the door.
"H-hello?" I called out, as I opened the grand door to the mansion. I didn't hear anyone, but I felt compelled to walk up to Adrien's bedroom. I took the steps slowly, one at a time. By the time I got to the top, my heart was beating really fast. I didn't get it. He was my friend-
Or was he my boyfriend? My head became foggy once again, and I closed my eyes. What was going on with me?
When I felt steady, I opened my eyes, and walked towards his door. Slightly ajar, I took a few deep breaths, and knocked slightly.
"Come in," Adrien's voice rang out. I pushed the door, and walked in. He was sitting back in his chair, one of his hands on his knee, and the other laying on the armrest. As soon as he saw me, he smiled, and motioned for me to come over. My legs were on auto pilot, as I walked over. He patted his leg, and I sat down.
"Hi princess," Adrien purred, kissing me. Still confused about everything, I closed my eyes, and tried to melt into the embrace. It just didn't feel right, and Adrien knew.
"What's wrong, m'lady?" He asked, snaking his arm around my waist. I looked up at him, trying to focus. He waited for me to respond, but before I could, I had an image flash in my mind.
It looked like Adrien, but with white cat ears, and a white suit. His eyes looked almost heartless, with his pupils in slits. I shook my head, trying to rid of the image.
"Marinette," Adrien said, snapping me out of it.
"S-sorry," I responded. He looked at me, and I remembered the question he had just asked me. "My mind has been all weird," I responded, trying to explain it.
"Weird how?" He pushed.
"Weird, as in, I have these images and details pop in my mind that don't seem real," I continued.
"Like what?" Adrien said, his voice void of any emotion. I didn't want to tell him, I just had a feeling it wouldn't end well. However, his hand that was on my leg was tightening, to the point where it was uncomfortable.
"You in white cat ears," I whispered. "And a tail..." I trailed off as his blue eyes darkened. I squeaked as he picked me up suddenly, and carried me to his bed. He put me down, and paced back and forth in front of me.
"Why?" He growled, in an almost inhumane voice. "It doesn't make sense..."
"A-Adrien?" I stuttered. He whipped his head in my direction, his eyes full of rage and confusion. I took a deep breath, and said, "maybe I should g-go." Not only was I uncomfortable, I was scared. Quicker than I expected, he was in front of me, pushing me onto my back.
Adrien loomed over me, almost hissing like a cat would. I snuck a glance at his eyes, and found myself stuck looking at them.
"You. Are. Not. Going. Anywhere," He annunciated. "You. Are. Mine."
My head exploded in pain when he spoke these words, and a fog as thick as night clouded my mind. Everything came back to me.
Superheros.
Chat Noir.
Us.
Shadowmoth.
Chat Blanc.
Tikki and Plagg.
The unification.....
Shit.
When I finally resurfaced from my flashback, my head was sitting in Adrien's lap, and he was stroking the side of my face. When he saw me wake up, his eyes showed concern and worry. Worry for what I might have seen.
"Are, are you okay Marinette?" He asked.
I lay there a moment, and said, "You know, your eyes show a lot about what you're feeling." Just like I said, his eyes started to cloud.
"What do you mean?"
"I remember," I said, "And your eyes show all that worry of me remembering." Adrien froze for a second, shooketh from what he had heard. I closed my eyes in case he were to blow up again, however, he continued to stroke my face.
"I knew it would happen," he muttered, as I opened my eyes again. "I just wish it didn't happen right away."
"A-Aren't you mad?" I asked, confused.
"Nope," he replied. "I can be myself again." I lifted my head off his lap as he stood up, and walked to the open part of his room.
He held out a ring just like that Chat Noir Ring. On the ring, however, was one of the earrings fused to it. He slid it on his finger, and a new kwami came out. A lot like plagg, the Kwami was cat like, but with the antennas and round eyes. It was white and purple, assumably because of Chat Blanc and the unification process.
I just watched in awe as Adrien called out the name, "Ekkta, unification!" (Author's Note: Ekta means to combine, but I just added an extra K to stay in line with the whole kwami name thing)
I watched as Adrien assumed his white cat form, but it seemed different.
And what I saw almost made me cry.
