but anyways its an aralas fic VERY HEAVILY based off the books, starting off in fotr and going thru 18 chapters till post-casting of the ring into mordor

THE QUOTES THE WRITING THE WAY ITS BASED OFF THE BOOK--

and IK IK that tolkien was christian, and homophobic and would probably have hated the whole aralas community and blah blah blah blah

BUT I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO BELIEVE that he would have been proud of this fic just bc of how well its written and how much justice it does to his books

so screw the fanboys who say otherwise <33

TRAUMATIZING. LIKE SONG OF ACHILLES LEVEL TRAUMATIZING

but it was so freaking good and masterfully written.  are you even an aralas shipper if you havent read this???? GO READ IT RN RN

beautiful. just beautiful. its described as a "very self indulgent" fic which i think is pretty accurate, and it goes very deeply into detail into legolas's life pre-fotr in mirkwood, and it describes aragorn's visit there and the beginning of their love SO BEAUTIFULLY its insane
