A few minutes have passed we all had gotten comfortable and able to joke around until Izumi decided that he couldn't hold back his curiosity.
"U-uhm, so Y/N... can I ask why you were with my girlfriend for so long even hugging her all by yourself. Especially after you got into a fight?"
I half expected him to wait to confront me on this to be honest but doing it here could be helpful for Shikimori.
"I won't tell you what we talked about and she herself also promised she wouldn't. However it isn't something that will affect your relationship nor is it something you should be worried about. She has just gotten a little emotional that's all."
I was still munching on those crackers I didn't have time to get a lunch at home nor do I have the luxury to buy one here I want to save money whenever possible. But I was honestly starving I'll just have to wait it out until I get home.
"Yeah I guess I trust her but I can't help but be curious. Right Inuzuka, Nekozaki and Hachimitsu?"
They all sat and thought for a bit; "I mean yes I'd be lying to say we aren't curious but I know Shikimori wouldn't do anything that could hurt you, she even protects you 24/7. Plus they even seem closer than before now isn't it a good thing?"
"I-izumi-San please believe me it wasn't anything you need to worry about we're just friends although I can't tell you what we talked about." I honestly thought she would crack and accidentally leak something but she kept her word and that made me feel a strange sense of warmth.
"But Shikimori-San you never hug any boys not even Inuzuka you even look like you'd rather die but it was so emotional it made me feel left out... oh I know! Y/N only acted differently when you brought up his parents normally he'd just blow you off but-"
I slammed my hand on the table.
"Izumi, no Yuu listen closely. You have a beautiful girlfriend with a great personality anyone can understand how you'd want to be protective of her. However don't step on other's feelings and especially hers because you feel a certain way. Im sorry to tell you that I did tell her something important about my family and home life but that has nothing to do with you. Don't try to force or press answers out of her it's none of your business."
I said that with an indifferent tone however my heart was racing a mile a minute I never tried to shut down a person so fast and effectively. It seemingly worked from the atmosphere.
"Y/N... Izumi-San..." Shikimori leaned more on Izumi's side and wanted to comfort him but she also agreed with what I said partially.
"Sorry you guys, I didn't mean to spoil the mood but I told her some very personal things that I don't want other people to know atleast not yet. Plus if I did you'd just worry over me even more." I tried to end things with a lighter tone but even after that everyone continued to eat in silence.

After that the next few days were normal the interactions were the same but things stayed on ice with Izumi and I what I said clearly bothered him but he never chose to apologize so I never even considered taking to him.
However I've noticed Shikimori has been a lot kinder on me and actually started to bring me lunches sometimes although they aren't the best they're better than nothing, plus she clearly put her all into it so I won't waste a bite.
