A message to Filipino readers

To my fellow Filipinos,

I hope this story have been an instrument to know more how politics directly affect us not only in our everyday life, but also our future.

As Ryzen mentioned in one quote,

"The worst illiterate is the political illiterate, he doesn't hear, doesn't speak, nor participates in the political events. He doesn't know the cost of life, the price of the bean, of the fish, of the flour, of the rent, of the shoes and of the medicine, all depends on political decisions. The political illiterate is so stupid that he is proud and swells his chest saying that he hates politics. The imbecile doesn't know that, from his political ignorance is born the prostitute, the abandoned child, and the worst thieves of all, the bad politician, corrupted and flunky of the national and multinational companies."

On the future elections, I hope that we all exercise our vote for someone like Lennox Zevallos, who has the following values within them: honesty, integrity, proven competency and no issues of corruption.

Just like how Lennox handled the typhoon issue competently and did the best for his people, I hope we choose a president who has a proven track record and truly has the heart for the poor.

Just like how Lennox faced fake news and how the people have discerned thoroughly around it, I also hope that we open our eyes beyond the easily-accessible posts we see on social media. 

Let us check for facts and not let fake news tarnish competent public servants like Lennox.

Senator Banzos, Jack Padilla and Xavier Ayala are all corrupt politicians and oligarchs who only live for their self-interest. 

They ran not to serve the people, but to sustain power for themselves. Let us not make them win in the real setting in our country.
