"Enna di sonna?" His voice came out weakly before he held her elbows and roared, "ENNA DI SONNA?!"

Sahana winced in pain and looked at his brown orbs, which carried multiple amount of pain than her physical pain. He left her with thud and turned his back to her, running his fingers in his hairs frustratingly.

"Situation use panni unna kalayanam pannikiten. Appadi thana?" He turned back to her and pushed the photo frame beside her bed side table on the floor harshly.

She gasped but didn't move even an inch, seeing his vulnerable state.

"Fine! I agree that I shouldn't have done like that whatever the situation was. But that doesn't mean I had used the situation. Bcz enaku theriyum unakum enna pidikumnu. Eppadi nalum ennaika irunthalum nee than en wife agirupa. Yet, I can understand you that this was unexpected. Ana athukaga unkita vanthu naa katuna thalia kalati kuduthuru, namma marriage than innum register panalalanu keka maten.

Oru papero illa kayiro namma bond ah ennaikume theermanikathu. Intha thali un kazuthula illanalume, nee en pondati than. Enaku mattum than. Unna yaarukagavum ethukagavum vitu kuduka maten. Keep that in your mind forever!" He shouted at her and left her room, leaving her to cry.

She carefully took the photo frame, which mirror was broken into pieces and hugged it close to her heart, wailing continuously. She laid down on her bed and looked at the photo.

It was their couple photo, which was taken eighteen years back when she was four years old and Aravind was ten years old. He was carrying the little Sahana in his arms and they both were smiling looking at each other.

"Naa etho oru frustrationla appadi sollitan, athukaga ippadi than behave pannuvia, Mama. Nee enna thitunathu kooda enaku valikave illa. Because I deserve that. But yen intha photo frame odacha. Marriage aagi innum one hour kooda agala athukulla namma onna iruka photove en da odacha!" She cried looking at the photo frame and slept due to both physical and mental tiredness.

Pugazh and Rakshan reached the home and found the deadly silence prevailing among everyone. They both came to know what had happened at the wedding hall, as they had gone there before coming to home.

"Ippo enna achunu neengalam mouna raagam paditu irukinga?" Rakshan broke the silence to lighten the environment.

"Sahana nenacha kavalaiya iruku. Avaluku ithu sudden shocka irukum. Ava chinna ponnu. Avalala itha eppadi accept pannika mudiyum." Lakshman worried about her.

"Ana, Mama, athai, periyama, chithi ellam avanga kalyanathuke naal kurichirunthanga theriyuma." Pugazh blurted out, thinking it would convince Lakshman.

He was shocked and looked at his wife and sisters. They three looked at each other, not knowing what to tell and glared at Pugazh, to which he gave his usual thirutu muzhi.

"Illanga, Aravind anga thaniya..." Parvati started but soon cut off by her husband, "Un pulla thaniya irupana oru vela kariya anupu. En ponnu than kedachala?!"

"Annan, avalukum Aravind na ishtam than." Lakshmi tried to convince him.

"Irunthalum ava chinna ponnu. Athu matum illama, sir bangalorela enna work panraru? Ivarala ivaraiye pathuka mudiyathu. Appuram enga irunthu Sahanava pathupan. Marriage na ungalukulam velayata pocha?" Aravind, who was about to come downstairs from his room, heard his father's words and went back to his room silently.

"Niruthuringala. Namma ellaraiyum vida Sahanava avan nalla pathupanu engakuku nambikai iruku. Oru appava oru thadavaiyavathu nambunga." Veni said irritatedly and she had never gone against her brother's words before.

"Athe than amma naangalum solrom. Konjam neenga petha ponnaiyum nambunga." Sakthi said and left from there to his room, fed up with the drama happening in their house.

"Ama, periyamma, Ungalukulam antha Rajesh pathi ethuvum theriyathu. Avan already rendu ponnungala love panratha solli emathirukan. Yen namma mani..." Sarath was saying but stopped abruptly, seeing Rakshan's gesture.

But what he had said about Rajesh was enough to break Lakshman more and other family members sigh in relief that thankfully their daughter wasn't get married to him.

Lakshman got up to leave to his room but stopped, seeing Aravind, who came down with his packed luggage. Everyone looked at him with furrowed eyebrows.

He didn't utter any words and keeping his luggage there, he went to Sahana's room. His heart pricked to see her, hugging their photo in sleep and tear streaks in her chin.

He sat beside her and kissed her temple holding his breath. He caressed his hairs, muttering, "I'm sorry, chellama."

He kept the letter beside her and kissed her forehead once and went out to the living room, where everyone were yet.

"Naa kelamburan." He said blankly and took his luggages to go out.

"Paithiyamathiri pannatha, da." Pugazh said and pulled his luggage from him.

"Konjamathu therinjuthan pesuriya, Aravind? Intha situationla Sahana vitutu eppadi unnala poga mudiyuthu." Parvati asked him.

"Avaluku naanga ennada bathil solluvom." Rakshan's voice became weak, thinking about his sister's condition.

"Avalukana bathila ava kaila kuduthutu vanthurukan. Ava college mudinjathuku appuram naa vanthu avala kootitu poran. Ippothaiku, naa unga yarukum avala nalla pathupanra assurance kuduka mudiyathu. So, let her complete her studies. Athukulla, ennala enna panna mudiyumo naan panren. Now don't ask me anymore questions. Machan, enna railway stationla drop panriya?" He asked Rakshan at the verge of breaking down into tears.

Rakshan nodded his head without any option and they both left in his car.

"Ippavathu, naan ingaye irukan. Naan padicha padipuku velaiku poran. En pondatiya naan pathukuranu solrana? Ivanalam nambi neenga Sahana vazhkaiya tholaika poringa." Lakshman fumed in anger and left from there, making others sigh.

When Sahana woke up from her sleep, she saw the letter near her. She picked it up and read it.

Hey Pondatti,

She felt goosebumps just by reading it. Unknowingly a blush covered her face.

I'm sorry for whatever happened. But I didn't regret it even a bit. I am extremely happy with what had happened. I know that you need time to cope up with this all. Also, you are in your final year. Concentrate on your studies and take your own time. I can wait until my last breathe for you. Athukunu avlo time eduthukatha. When you wake up, I won't be there. Because I'm leaving to Bangalore. Enaku unna vitutu poga kashtama iruku. Athan neenga thoongumpothu kelambiten. Just three more months, right? Anyways, ennoda credit card un pursela vachurukan. Entha expense nalum atha use panniko. Unnoda mobila en sim potu phone pay open panirukan. For online payements use that. En mela evlo kovam irunthalum namma money use pannu. Mathavanga kita money vaanga vendamnu illa. But I love to do these things for you. Enaku oru pride, en pondatikaga naan selavu panranu. En number un mobila save pannirukan. Don't hesitate to call me for anything. Let's hope for your college to over soon, so that I will kidnap my angel with me.

Yours,
Aravind.

Her eyes got wet, reading the letter. She felt so stupid to argue with him before and hugged the letter close to her heart, muttering, "I'm sorry, Mama. I love you da, Purusha!"
