Mavis.

"I threw it and run away, I didn't even wait to see who it landed on."

"No way!"

A wide grin plastered on his face as he recalled the events of his childhood. He spoiled me with Another throaty laugh that has me feeling dizzy. "I swear. But that's not the worst, the paint balloon didn't land on the teenager but his dad." he leans on his arm, braced on his knee. "It was so awkward when mom had me apologize."

"You were trouble after all," I tease, a small smile of my own break on my lips. He straightens, fully turning my way. "That guy was way older than me and and he always picked on me and my friends, he had it coming."

"But, it didn't even land on him," I argue and he only smirks. "I didn't like his dad either, he was an asshole. And I did slash the tire of his bike after it." he looks so precious, his eyes dancing with mischief and waves of joy rolling off him as he remembers the memories. "You didn't get caught for that?" he shakes his head, strands of hair falling on his eyes as he pulls them back. "Nope. My mom would have had my skin if she knew."

"Was she strict with you?" I ask, and then wonder if it's too personal. But June respond nevertheless, "sometimes she was. She had strict rules about me not wandering too far and staying out too late, it might sound normal but I couldn't stay at one of my friend's houses more than an hour. She was overly protective and always scared for my safety." he paused, then added. "And since she worked, I would always find a sitter at home when I came back from school. As she met my stepfather when I was twelve, she started becoming more trusting, less afraid." he smiled, a very sad smile compared to his usual one.

"It was understandable, single mothers don't have it easy." I said, not knowing if it was the right thing to be said. But he agreed, "of course, that's why I'm grateful for her." he grabbed a chocolate cupcake and took a bite, he groaned in the process. "Goodness, this thing is delicious. You should try it." I could have taken the other one on the plate, but I grabbed his and took a bite. His eyes lingered on my mouth for a bit before he looked at me. "That was mine."

"Well, now its mine." I lick the chocolate on my fingers and add. "And you're right, i's good."  he looked out of focus for a time, before he said. "Do you always take what you want?" I lean on my arm, getting closer to him. "Always."

"If I licked your lips right now, would you slap me?"

I snicker, looking down to hide my grin before looking back up. "Do you want that?" his attention is still drawn to my lips, "your lips are coated with chocolate, Mavis. I may be dead if I didn't want that." I could let him do it, with such a heated gaze I could let him do many things to me. But I prefer to tease him, I love it when he gets frustrated. So I take his finger, swipe it over my lips and put it on his mouth. "Lick it." and he did, as if he was in a trance. His eyes fixated on mine as I said, "I bet it tastes even more now?"

I smile, and he sighs turning his head away from me, a small smirk edging his lips."Nothing will ever be easy with you?"

"You wanted me first, assume the consequences."

"Sound like good consequences to me," he leans his face closer, his lips are the only thing I could see. Maybe I should have let him lick me. "Did I tell you how pretty you are?" I drag my eyes to meet his, "you called me stunning, but I don't remember pretty." his lips twitch in amusement, "I should tell you more often." I incline further into him, our noses almost touching. "You should also kiss me." he hums, and the sound vibrates through me. "I should, I really should."

"But?"

"I don't want you thinking I only brought here to kiss you, or do other things."

"Other Things?" I raise an eyebrow. And he shakes his head chuckling. "That's not the point. What I meant is that I don't only want physical things with you," he is funny, because a guy who only wanted sex, wouldn't have made all these efforts. Or waited so long to kiss me. The fact that he is so considerate only makes me want to kiss him more. So I do it, I fist his shirt and bring him close enough to me that I whisper the next words against his lips. "Well, I want it. Are you going to deny me?"

He gulps, "tell me again who am I again to deny you anything?" that's all it took me to crash my lips against his.

I didn't expect this.

The way his lips melt against mine brought me closer to the edge of heaven than any kiss I've ever had before. He moves his mouth in such a sensual manner, It's slow, delicate and addicting. he palms the back of my neck, bringing me even closer as he licks my lip and I exhale, and he was quick to use it as a chance to explore the inside of my mouth. Lazy, agonizing strokes of his tongue had my mind in a daze.

I thought I would be the one in control if I was the one instigating it, but I was gone the second his lips touched mine. Every reluctant feeling I had in me is gone, nothing matters anymore but him kissing me. I could stay like this, who needs oxygen anyways.

He did, he pulled away to breathe and the look in his eyes has me weak in the knees. I was straddling him in a second, my hands through his hair pulling him to me. "Kiss me again," he stares at me, before looking up and smiling. "I think I'm in heaven." I tilt his face back down and bend my head. "Kiss me again before I take you to hell."

He chuckles and closes the distance between us. This time it was faster, more urgent, and needy with the way our lips moved. I held into his the back of his neck as I pushed against him, trying to feel him. I want all of him. "God, Mavis." he groans but I'm kissing him again before he can say anything else. His lips are soft, velvety even. It feels amazing, outstanding, and incomparable to anything else.

He grabs my hips, halting me from moving. I haven't even realized it, until he stopped me. I pull away, and his hooded eyes told me enough. "I'm sorry, I got carried away." I didn't want to make this so sexual, but I couldn't help myself. His lips are some kind of drug, he should have warned me. "Don't be." he cradles the side of my face, stroking it with his thumb. "You're the best kiss I've ever had."

"Really?" I better be. He smiles and I melt, "yeah, really. Now, I'm jealous that you kissed Malu." he shouldn't be, it was nothing like this. "I barely kissed him, it doesn't count." he sit straight, making me jolt in the process. He is hard. "I bet you he was feeling exactly like I am right now." we were chest to chest, and I was barely breathing. "I hate thinking about it. Please, don't do something like that again." I don't know how, but I manage to nod. Lost in the dusk of his eyes, I'm aware that I can't find this anymore.

I might have found my new obsession.

"So how much do I get out of ten?" he asks as he parks in front of my house. I don't understand at first, when I tilted my head in confusion he added. "About the date."

"Ah," well, it's not like I have other dates to compare to, but I did enjoy it a lot. I had fun, he made me laugh and smile. I loved how attentive he was, how easily he could talk about things and how comfortable he made me. Let's not forget about the part where he gave me the best kiss of my life. " well, I would say eight and a half."

He frowned, "I want a ten. Where did the other points go?"

"Well, half a point was because you ate the last strawberry when I wanted it. And the other point was for not kissing me enough." I explain, truly serious but he broke into a grin nevertheless. "I won that strawberry fair and square, you lost at rock paper scissors,"

"I thought you were a gentleman," I interrupt and he ignores me, "and for the kissing part, I could have continued but it wouldn't be appropriate for a public place." narrowing my eyes at him, I scoff. "Sound like excuses to me."

He leans closer over the seat, and cradles my face in his warm hands. "I'm sorry to disappoint you, let me make it up to you with a goodbye kiss?"

"No."

His face dropped, "no?" I pull away from his hands but still close to his face, "Nothing is easy with me, remember?" he falls back into his seat, a lazy smile creeps it's way on his lips. "Right," he smirks. "So, I have to get you on another date to fix it up?"

"Can you cook?" I ask.

"Yes,"

"I'm not picky but I like spicy stuff."

"I guess I can learn to make spicy stuff."
