Mavis.

I wouldn't consider myself insanely jealous, but I am insane.

I was supposed to stay home, write my paper on a class I'm failing, and pray that by some miracle I pass. I would rather pass an exam than write stupid papers, for as long as I remember I can never get the full grade on my essays, it's either I give too much information and stray out of the subject or not enough and it's not detailed how the professor would want it.  But Back to the topic. While I was on my bed trying to coarse ideas out of my brain, I receive a picture from Jamie.

A girl getting very touchy with June, while he looked rather uncomfortable trying to push her hand away. I know he is not cheating on me, he offered to stay with me tonight and I almost had to kick him out to go to this party. I didn't want to ruin his fun with his friends, but apparently, I should have.

I literally dressed up in less than five minutes, I kept my sweatpants on and put on a big racing jacket over my sports bralette. And I was on the road. Jamie was kind enough to send me the location, and a text that said I will be waiting for you. Knowing him, he probably wants some drama, but I appreciate it nonetheless cause June would have brushed it off as nothing.

I don't care if he has girl friends, or he is chatting and having fun with them, I don't want to take his life away from him but do not fucking touch him. People seem to forget about boundaries, but I'm here to remind them. My therapist wouldn't be very happy with me right now, but I'm not going to hit this girl just going to have a nice talk with her and break her soul.

I won't use my hands unless it's necessary.

As I parked a little down the road, I saw Jamie waiting outside the house with two other guys I don't know. He walked off them and strolled my way, greeting me with his all-star smile. "Hey, Mavis, you look good,"

"Who is that girl? You know her?" I ask as I keep walking, and he follows. "And where is she?"

"First of all, chill. June didn't do anything, he told her to leave him alone more than once." I look up at him, and he was being quite serious, but I already know that. "Jamie, I didn't ask about June, did I? I know he won't cheat on me, I'm only here because I want to talk to the girl,"

His mouth quirked up, "You want to talk to her?"

I shrug. "Punch her, talk to her, the lines are blurred so I don't know yet,"

"Oh, please do punch, I hate her so much," he responds and I halt narrowing my eyes on him then ask, "she did something to you?"

He paused, as if I caught him saying something he shouldn't. Jamie is easy to read, just like June they wear their feelings on their faces. And right now, the way he shifts on his two legs and scratches the back of his head tells me that the smile he is about to fake is a way to escape my question. "Not really, I just hate this kind of girl. She is only going after guys in relationships and keeps pushing even when she is told no,"

She did something to him too. And maybe we are not close enough for him to confide in me, but I wish he could. "You might not be comfortable talking about it yet, but-" I clear my throat, "but I can listen, and I will believe you,"

Oh my God, I'm so bad at this. And him staring at me so intensely than chuckling, confirmed it.  "I appreciate it, Mavis. And if you're wondering she didn't sexually assault me." his smile dropped a little and he continue, "she just made me uncomfortable by touching me,"

"That's sexual assault,"

He frowns, "is it?"

"Did you consent to her touching you?"
