"Okay, so, in this example, we're the acrobat. Will and Barbara, and that monster, they're the flea." Mike explained as the boys and El sat opposite the others at the dining table. "And this is the upside down, where Will is hiding. Mr Clarke said the only way to get there is through a rip of time and space."

The entire group were huddled around the Byers dining table, the boys explaining their theory to the teens and adults. Theo had gone home after picking the boys up, Jim forcing him to after reassuring him that he would drop Avery home after she made sure the boys were okay. Once he was gone and that had made sure each of the kids were good, they were determined to explain their idea on what was happening, an idea that Avery only knew half of.

"A gate." Dustin piped up. "That we tracked to Hawkins Lab with our compasses."

They all stared at the boys confused. "Okay, so the gate has a really strong electromagnetic field, and that can change the directions of a compass needle." Dustin explained.

"Is this gate underground?" Hopper asked.

"Yes." El nodded.

"Near a large water tank?" Hopper wondered.

"Yes." El repeated, confusing everyone.

"How do you know all that?" Dustin stuttered out.

"He's seen it." Mike stated, his eyebrows furrowing slightly at his own statement.

"Is there any way that you could... that you could reach Will?" Joyce spoke up, gesturing around. "That you could talk to him in this—"

"The upside down." Avery whispered to the woman quietly.

"Down. Yeah." Joyce muttered, sending the brunette a grateful look.

"And my friend Barbara?" Nancy then piped up. "Can you find her, too?"

The group stood around the table as El sat in front of a few pictures of Barb and Will's radio, static being heard in the room as the lights flickered.
