"Loralie, he's not on our team!" Nick laughed in disbelief as she got to Charlie's side.
"I can't help it." she laughed at how many gutters Charlie got. She helped him out, the pair holding the ball together as Loralie rolled it. Charlie cheerled loudly when he scored a strike. "See!"
The rest of the night went nearly the same, even though Loralie and Nick were well above the others. Tao threw a fit every time he missed, resulting in Elle and Loralie having to comfort him. Nick had taken the final score, wining for him and Loralie as they cheered.
"I told you!" Loralie teased Elle.
"I was so close." she huffed.
"Your fault for choosing Tao as your teammate over me." Loralie threw her hands up in surrender. "Don't hate the player."
"Please, Nick clearly lead you to victory." she rolled her eyes.
Loralie gasped. "He did not."
They turned to Tao, who was glaring at Charlie, who'd hand was on Nicks arm. Elle nodded. "You okay?"
"Yeah, yeah. I'm good." he spoke quickly as Loralie wrapped an arm around his waist.
"Is everyone ready for a round two?" Issac stood up in questioning.
"I'm just going to go find the bathroom." Charlie looked their way with a little grin.
"Best of luck emptying your bladder, Birthday Boy." Loralie grinned as Charlie gave her a crazy look, walking away. "I love that kid so much."
"I'm going to go talk to him." Tao looked to the girls quickly.
"About?" Elle frowned her eyebrows. Tao looked back at Nick, speaking with Issac. "Tao. Tao, no. It's his birthday."
"What's so wrong with him anyways? He's so sweet." Loralie defended Nicks honor. "He carried me."
"Loralie, the bar is literally on the floor at this point." Tao sighed as he looked over at her. "Elle and I have both carried you."
"And I love you both so much for it." she pointed out. "As I do Issac, and Charlie even though he needed help carrying me. Why can't I love Nick for it too?"
"I've only just realized how much you get hurt." Elle frowned her eyebrows with a few blinks. Tao ignored the two, following Charlie to the bathroom. "Want to share a Sprite?"
Loralie smiled. "Does a infirmary need bandaids?"
Elle gave a questionable look. "Yes?"
"Exactly." she smiled, taking her hand as they went to the snack bar. Loralies phone went off, pausing to pull it out.
"Okay, i'm over it." Elle sighed as she looked up. "Who is this secret person you've been texting so much lately?"
Loralie sighed, a shy smile on her face. "You remember the guy from the game?"
