Chapter 1 : Wayer

Looking through the window, Raina was anxious of the man who was coming in on the castle entrance he was a little strange and had a mysterious appearance. She had no clue what he wanted on the castle

Anthony was paying attention to the man walking up the stairs, he was wearing a long black cape, it looked like he was hiding his face, he stopped and said:

— Let me pass I have a very important message to the dear king of this region

— Of course my sir, we will only need to inspect you, we've been having lots of horrible things happening on the on the region, mostly petty criminals. We have been doing everything to keep the region safe, we cannot let things get to the level of the past, when that man was on the kingdom

— Oh my friend. No monster comes close to general Wayer. The Order of Kings exiled him a long time ago and everyone still mentions his atrocious acts

— Albert don't mention that name, we made a vow to not remember the past , didn't we? Stop saying that name

— Wanting or not everyone still remembers of him. He did horrible things — he said with a closed face

The man on the black coat sighed

— So this pathetic kingdom still remembers me — The man started laughing with hatred and looked at the guards with a scarlet glowing eye — Time to Artross to bleed what I have bleed

Anthony and Albert froze, they never dreamed that one day something like this would happen. Arnold tried to grab his sword, but it was to late. Wayer grabbed his stick and with one movement transformed into a spear and attacked him

— What the... — Albert shouted at the same moment that was pierced by the attacked dying instantly.

Anthony tried to help screaming for the soldiers around the castle, but to his horror they were fighting for the other side, he was attacked by one of the soldiers who jumped high and landed a critical attack on him, after that the soldier smile proud

— Artross soldiers, always prepared but dead so easily — Warren said with a smug face that Wayer always hated but didn't have time to say anything on that moment

Wayer took a little crystal out of his pocket and lifted in the air, after some seconds it started to grow purple and portals appeared on the ground and lots of soldier started appearing from it

The infiltration was successful then my sir — A soldier with black hair and a mask named Tryner got out of a portal congratulating her master, she was one of the general in Wayer's circle

— Tryner ring the bell and call our troops scattered in the city — Wayer said calmly

Everyone of Wayer circle went in different ways on the city walls defeating every soldier that stood on their way. People runned screaming. The monster was back

The castle soldiers walked in battle fighting until the last blood drop, they were outnumbered. Wayer's army was too strong whoever went on his way would be dead on the spot

During the attack, the young girl with red hair walked in despair on the castle corridors looking for her father

— Oh my god, how could I be so dumb — She said thinking she could have warned her father about the man before he attacked.

— Father! Father! Where are you — Raina walked on the throne room and saw his father with his sword on his sword getting ready to battle.

— My daughter where is your brother and his squad ? — He gasped tired — I don't know what's happening but I will have to battle — He looked the sword on his hand and thought that he would never return to that room again, wouldn't sit on his throne and wouldn't see his daughter again.

— I don't know father, he was supposed to return from his mission on the kingdom this week, I ... I don't know what's happening, who is that man? — She asked worried with her father face

King Robert looked through the window and saw a man coming on the stairs with a smile, he always would recognize that smile

Raina, you can't stay here — he lifted his hand and called for two people that were on looking on the balcony, it were friends of Raina that entered her personal guard not much long ago , one with blonde short hair and one with long black hair — Hank and Anne, will take you out of the city and will take care of you until everything is fine

— But father! I wanna stay with you sir. I fear of what could happen — Tears where already running on Raina's eyes on that point

— Raina go! When everything get better I'll send someone for you. I love you daughter but I need you to go — He said with a firm and sad voice

— Goodbye father — Raina said reluctant being grabbed by Anne

— We need to go the enemy troops are closing in on the castle — Anne said fearing they wouldn't escape

Hank, Anne e Raina got out of the room ad went to the garden looking for the underground passageway, but before they could open a man with a wealthy appearance appeared behind them and shouted:

— Wait! I have to give you something to you three — The king's right hand Seymour got near them with something on his hand

— Seymour,what is it?

— Take it princess — he came close to her and put a collar on her hands , the collar was ornamented with gold and had a violet gem on the middle

—My mother's collar?

—It'll be useful for you, Wayer returning is a bad omen. — He didn't hesitate and gave both Anne and Hank crystals as well — You must go to Danamere there you will find a temple where you can contact Palladia
 
—Thank you mister Seymour — Hank said while not knowing what that crystal, but knowing that it was important

— Now go, I need to stay and prevent the situation from getting worse them already is, the underground passageway is clear and will lead you all to outside the city walls

— Seymour be careful — Anne said in a hurry while closing the underground passageway

Seymour waved his head and went to battle. The three runned in the underground escaping the city. Raina looked back and the once calm vision that she was used to of the city now was only screams and dead soldiers fighting for her and her kingdom

On the castle throne room King Robert saw someone he once wished never to see again

—You and the other kings exiled me, destroyed my life, it's time for you all to pay for it — Wayer shouted angry

— You brought this on yourself Wayer — Robert said calmly

— Maybe my King, but that changes nothing  — Wayer lifted his hood showing his silver hair and an extremely red and hurt left eye, he didn't hesitate and dashed with his spear going for the king

Robert holded his sworded with sadness on his face and prepared to shout

— Then come your tyrant — The king shouted while preparing to attack
