Wang Yibo's POV
"Li Yang!!!"
I burst into my office, breathing so hard from all the running. Not going to lie, but I could see Li Yang's soul leaving her body after I got in. I can't help it, can I? Though I feel bad for startling her like that.
"W-would you please stop scaring me like that?!" Li Yang yelled while steading her breathing. Yep, this time I did scare her big time.
"My bad, but Zhan!" I stomp my way to the sofa when I could guess Li Yang must be trying to keep her eyes in her sockets.
"Do I remind you before every meeting not to scare him?" Li Yang said as she checked Zhan's condition.
"Zhan was at the restroom gripping the basin. I didn't scare him at all." I tried to defend myself.
"Then? What did you do?" Li Yang said without taking her eyes from Zhan
Li Yang, why must you be this scary when it comes to us? No wonder Ge and the elders are afraid of her. Li Yang has this aura that changes fast as the situation changes.
"He was already pale when I found him. So, I asked him what had happened. But he didn't tell me, instead, he told me it's not my business. I should've known that he wouldn't look or tell me anything as the CEO. I can see that. Still, he's so pale and kept gripping his head. Fatigue must've attacked him. He couldn't even hold himself from falling near the basin." I tried not to choke on my breath as I explained what had happened back there.
"Well, you're right, he is indeed not well. Apparently, Zhan has a high fever, presumably due to overwork. And his fatigue, it's assumably from a lack of sleep, as his eyebags are bad. Explains why he's so pale and fainted." Li Yang shakes her head after explaining Zhan's conditions.
"Hospital. Yang, he needs to go to the hospital. Now." I quickly recommend it.
"I know. But Yibo, his brother is picking him up afterwork today. How are you going to explain it to him as the CEO?" Li Yang said in a concerned tone, warning my confusing look. "Don't ask me how I know. I heard him calling to his brother while checking his department for the conference this morning." She added before I could ask.
"I know and I got that already. Now we have to bring him to the hospital. His breathing went harder." I said when I caught Zhan's irregular breathing.
"You sure? Yibo, it's his brother Jiang Zhou Cheng, not his sister or his in law. And you don't look confident." Li Yang said unconvinced.
I've met Zhan's family before, especially his brother. More specifically, his adoptive brother Jiang Zhou Cheng. He's short-tempered and more protective than his adoptive sister, Jiang Xuan Lu or his brother in law, Jin Yuchen. That is because he's been there with Zhan throughout his college days. Zhou Cheng never left Zhan's side except when he had different classes. Their departments are further. Zhan took Art and Design as his main department while studying Bussiness Management for fillings. Whereas Zhou Cheng only chose Bussiness Management.
To be honest, concidering his temper. I'm not sure myself if I could counter him. He must've hated me more than back then for leaving Zhan. Not to mention, he's closer to Zhan than Xuan Lu or Yuchen. But I got to put up the act, or Yang won't let me take Zhan to the hospital.
"I get that you're worried. Don't worry, I can handle him. Besides, it's time for me to apologize to his family and properly explain. I'll have to tell them first before reavaling it to Zhan. Or they wouldn't let me have Zhan." I said looking to calm for my own good.
"For real? Should I inform Kuan Ge about this?" Li Yang still looking worried.
"Yang, his conditions are getting worse!" I tried to pursue Yang as she's not budging. 'You worried too much, Yang. You can't even trust me on this.' I thought sadly.
"Then make your decision Yibo. Cause I'm worried not just for you but for Zhan as well." Li Yang said while taking a glance at Zhan's condition.
"You really won't drop it until I did, huh." I facepalmed while Li Yang still questioning my reasons. Seriously she just won't budge.
"Well duh, you're facing his brother! If it's his sister, I'd be more assure. His sister has more understanding and less temper than his brother after all. Your risk of having a black eye or other bruises are minimal against her." Li Yang said, huffing while looking serious at the same time.
"Think about Zhan too, Yibo. You think he can recover like this?" Li Yang added after a short pause.
What Li Yang said is true. She's my best friend after all, she knew my past regarding Zhan. But can't she at least have faith on me?
"Can't you least have faith on me? I get that Zhou Cheng or Yuchen will surely beat me and Xuan Lu might want to slap me. Then just let them do it." I said when Li Yang suddenly face me.
"You do deserve a hit, and I do have faith on you. But how are you going to talk if they kept beating you?" She remarked.
"I'll just talk. Let them know the real reason behind my departing. If you're still unsure, then let's all go. Call Ge and we'll go. I still have Zhou Cheng's number, I'll text him on the way. Zhan's getting paler Yang." I said while taking my phone out to call the ambulance.
"Ugh fine! This time we'll go your way. Just make sure that everyone's there so there won't be anymore misunderstanding. Ge is on his way to the hospital." Yang said as she put back her phone.
"Sure, they'll be here soon. Also Yang, I told them it's near the parking lot, so make sure no staffs on the way. I'll be back." I said as my face went stoic while making my way to the 7th floor.

Carrying all Zhan's stuff to my car, Yang's talking to the paramedics. What's taking her so long?!
"No ma'am, we need to call his family to inform about the patients conditions. Or we can't get him to the hospital." The paramedic said as he kept refusing to let Zhan inside the ambulance.
"Hai Kuan Ge, file a report to Gusu Hospital regarding their teams unprofessional attitude. Point out the team that's currently in Wang Corporation. The messed with Yang and Zhan. Thanks Ge. I'll meet you at Gusu Hospital." I spoke loudly so the paramedics could hear.
"They're from Gusu Hospital?!" Yang said surprised.
"They are, now you all leave. And Yang, we'll go by car, Ge is there already." I said while taking Zhan into my car with Yang. She didn't even spare a word. She's pissed.
"If you don't leave then it's fine. Feel free to follow us. We're heading to your hospital anyway. Let see how you'll react for defying the Wangs." I said after getting inside the car and drove off to Gusu Hospital where Ge is waiting.
'Don't worry Zhan, everything is going to be alright. Please just hold on a bit more.'

Guess who's updating early???Yep your dear author, me.
Hehe, so I had this idea about Yibo's idea of revealing his reasons to Zhan's family while taking Zhan to the hospital. He'll reveals his relationship with Yang too. I know it's kind of early since it's just a week after their encounter. But I thought it'll be good. About the twins, it'll still be a secret to Yibo and his family. Since Zhan will be the one revealing them soon as well as Li Yang and Zhan's family reveals Zhan's real identity plus Yibo reveals his reasons to Zhan.
So it'll be a train of explanations and reveals, also some angst for YiZhan regarding Zhan's nightmares.
