As they woke up the next day the sun was shining high on the sky and nobody decided to wake them up earlier and they were thankfull for that. They cuddled for a bit until Thomas' stomach grumbled. "Are you hungry Tommy?" Newt asked with a sweet laugh. Thomas nodded and they decided to make their way to the fire. To their suprise everyone was there eating lunch. They got themselves some food and sat down with Minho and the others. Newt still had a wierd feeling about Teresa being there but he guessed that it was just jealussy. Even tough Thomas already clarified that he felt nothing for her he still felt that Teresa liked Thomas as more than a friend.
"Why has nobody woken us up earlier?". Thomas asked. "You looked so comfy laying there, I even wanted to join". Minho answerd with a light laugh at the end. "And we couldn't ruin the sweet moment before we showed Brenda and Gally". Frypan said while the others giggled. Newt looked away embaraced while Thomas laughed the growing blush on his face off. "Oh and we're not running today because we have to do the whole stuff with the electricity and so". Minho said after the laugher died down. Thomas frowned but Newt had a smile on his face. Thomas looked at him questioning but he just said "later".
After a while the people bagan to get back to work and Thomas and Newt made their way to the beach. Newt looked excited but also scared and that confused Thomas. "Soooo what are you so excited about?", He asked the blond boy. "I have a plan. I want to talk to Sonya today. Like today is perfect. We both have time and I can explain everything", Newt answerd with a huge smile on his face that made Thomas smile too. They talked for a bit and then Newt saw Sonya and said that he would talk to her. "Good luck", Thomas said after leaving a kiss on Newts cheek. Newt smiled and made his way to Sonya. Thomas decided to help the others as to not disturb the siblings.
Newt found Sonya quickly near the woods. He walked up to her after taking a deep breath to calm his nerves. "Hey Sonya, I kinda have a lot to talk about with you", Newt said with a shaky breath at the end. Sonya looked at him with hope in her eyes. 'maybe she does remember' tought Newt. "Ok follow me", Sonya gestured Newt to follow her to a tree. Their spot overlooked the whole place.
Sonya sat down and threw herself into Newt's arms. "I missed you so much", She said with tears rolling down her happy face. "I missed you too Lizzy". And with that the sibling cried and smiled at the memories they shared with each other after such a long time. It was like they never got seperated.
As it got dark they dicided to go eat and as they made their way to the fire Newt saw Thomas laughing with Minho and Fry. Newt was happy that Thomas was happy and he himself was happy too. Newt sat down next to Thomas with his food and Sonya, or Lizzy, sat on the other side. Thomas smiled at the sight of them and quickly pecked Newts lips. "Ha I knew you were gay", Sonya said to Newt with a proud smirk. Newt blushed at slightly punched her shoulder.
After they ate they all shit chatted for some time. It was a perfect evening. They even got some lights to work. They couldn't use those much because they still didn't have much energie but that would change soon. Around midnight they decided to got to sleep because they had a long day ahead. Thomas was happy for Newt and hugged him extra thight to say goodnight. "I am so happy for you", he said with a big smile on his face. Newt could even see his eyes sparkle and he was verry thankfull to have Thomas in his live. "I couldn't have done it without you Tommy", Newt said and kissed Thomas softly. Thomas smiled into the kiss and then they both went to sleep cuddled up in the small hammock.
'A lot of changes are coming', Thomas thought ,'I feel it'.
