Chapter 3: Nature's Love

1 month latter

Diamond: Rose, it's time to get up

Rose: can't I sleep a little more?

Diamond: I'd let you sleep a little more but Solar came here looking for you and asked me to wake you up

Rose: HE WAS??!!! *starts blushing insanely*

Diamond: Why are you freaking out?

Rose: umm

Diamond: just speak it out sis, you know you can trust me

Rose stays quiet

Diamond: Is it about Solar?

Rose: blushes o-of course not!!

Diamond: then why are you blushing

Rose: ok you got me, I do like him.. but I'm just scared he doesn't like me back

Diamond: don't worry about it, I'm sure he likes you back

Rose: maybe...

Diamond: I'm going to the kitchen now, do you want anything?

Rose: I'm good

The two sisters go down stairs. Rose goes to water her plants while Diamond reads on the couch

Lapis: Hey Rose!

Rose: What's up?

Lapis: Nothing! So... Is anything wrong? Just tell me. Tell me. Tell me. Tell me. I know you are going to tell me. Tell me now come on Rose?

Rose: I have no idea what your talking about

Lapis: just talking about you and Solar

Rose: *blushing* w-what about h-him?

Lapis: I always see you blushing when you two are close to each other so you gotta have a crush on him!

Rose: It's nothing at all! not like I like him or anything

Lapis: you love him~

Rose: *blushing redder than a real roses* I-it's n-n-not l-like that

Lapis: isn't that him over there? I'm gonna tell him!

Rose: don't!

Rose trips trying to grow vines to stop her

Rose: w-wait!

Over on a nearby bench

Spark: look, all I'm saying is I think they should bring back the Szechuan sauce

Solar: But wasn't it just a promotion for a movie?

Spark: who cares, it's so good, why not make it an all time menu item.

Solar: I guess you got a point

Lapis: Solar~

Solar: what's up sis?

Lapis: you know how you and Rose spend so much time together?

Solar: what about it?

Pearl: Solar, can you come here quick

Solar: Sorry sis, gotta go help Peal!

Spark: I'm gonna go play with sunshine if you wanna come with

Lapis: no thanks

Spark: alright

Once Spark leaves

Rose: Please don't tell him!!!

Lapis: So you do love him?

Rose: fine, I admit it, but will you just leave me alone, I wanna tell him myself

Lapis: alright

Rose: and please don't tell anyone

Latter on

Diamond: Hey Rose, I need your help with something

Rose: Sure, what's up?

Diamond: Just follow me

Soon at the warehouse

Rose: Why are we at the warehouse? oh, hey Solar

Solar: hey rose

Diamond and Lapis: Have fun you two!

Lapis then slams the door causing Rose to fall on her face due to the door

Solar: Rose!!

He quickly runs over to her

Solar: R-rose! Are you ok!??

Rose: I-I'm ok... ouch!

She fell on the floor hard. She has a bloody nose and a few cuts on her arms

Solar: Oh no! What should I do!! What if it's infected!? What if she bleeds to death?!! AHHH!!

Rose is just laying on the grown watching him and actually giggling a little due to how much he's overreacting

Solar: SOMEONE HELP!!!!

Rose: Solar, I'm fine, I swear!

Solar: s-sorry for overreacting

Rose: it's fine, if anything it's a little sweet you care that much to react like that *blushes a little*

Solar: *also starts to blush* t-thanks

Rose: we should probably try to get out of here

Solar: *points at window* we could go through that window

Rose: alright

Rose was climbing to the window.

Rose: Made it!

Solar: Be careful.

Rose: Don't worry, I'll be-

She suddenly lost her grip and fell down.

Rose: Kya!

She hit Solar. She got up and saw she was on him. They both blushed.

Rose: S-Solar! A-are you okay!?

Solar: Y-yeah... Are you?

Rose: Y-yeah... I'm... I'm sorry... I'll-

Suddenly the door opened

Ella: Solar? You ok? I heard-

She immediately got surprised as Rose immediately got off Solar and they both turned fully red.

Solar/Rose: E-Ella!?!?

Ella then ran away while carrying Spark

Ella: S-sorry for the intrusion! We've got to go now!

Rose and Solar waiting a minute before saying anything as they both needed to process what just happened

Solar: Umm... Are you alright?

Rose looked at him

Rose: Umm... Y-yeah...

Solar: we should probably go get you something for the cuts

Rose: y-yeah

Latter that night

Rose was just resting in bed, thinking about the events that just unfolded that day.

Rose: Maybe he does like me back...

Well, what do you all think? I thought I would mix up the roles a little from the original because I felt like this had more potential for something more creative then just changing the names. Anyway, that's chapter 3 finished. C'ya all in the next one!
