Chapter 6: School trouble

Beginning takes place while Spark, Frost, Trace and Diamond are in the nether

It was the end of another school day when everyone got their report card.

Sunshine: How do your grades look?

Alex: Not bad. Mostly Bs, a few Cs and an A-. How about for you?

Sunshine: Let me check. Looks like all As- wait, I got a C- in combat and a note that says the principle wants to talk to my parents

Alex: That can't be good

Sunshine: What should I do? My parents are gonna be mad that I got a C-!

Alex: You say that, yet everything else is an A. You have high honors!

Sunshine: I'm in 1st grade, that hardly means anything

Alex: Then a C- shouldn't either

Sunshine couldn't argue with that. He got her there

Sunshine: Ok you have a good point about the grades and I admit you're right about that but the principle part is still an issue!!

Alex: I could pretend to be your dad

Sunshine: That wouldn't work. Even if I made you an adult, my Dad is famous! All the teachers in the school know I'm his daughter and I'm not changing all of time just because of one note!

Alex: Well it would be one way to know if the time police are real

Sunshine: I am not going to Infinetentiary

Alex: Does make me wonder how far into the future 207̃012 actually is

Sunshine: Let's get back on topic here. What am I supposed to do?

Alex: Just give it to your parents. Odds are they will get an email or something so they will find out

Sunshine: I feel like I'm gonna be thinking about this a lot

Later on in Sunshine's dreams

Sunshine wasn't saying much

Shine: Is something wrong? You're usually talking much more

Sunshine: I've just been thinking about something in the real world

Shine: Would you like to talk about it?

Sunshine: I guess. I have a bad grade in one of my classes and the principal of my school wants to talk to my parents

Shine: Well what about your other grades?

Sunshine: All my others are good

Tavernkeep: Then why are you focusing on just the bad one! If all your others are good, maybe they want to talk to you about your good grades

Sunshine: Maybe that's true for older people but I'm only 4

Tavernkeep: Then why am I giving you ale?!

Sunshine: Cause in this world I'm old enough and you wouldn't care about my age. You would serve ale to a crab if it paid!

Tavernkeep: Yeah, you're definitely right there

Sunshine: I'm gonna go fishing in hopes to get it off my mind

The next day in the real world

Sunshine: *deep breath* todays the day I guess. I would be nice if I had Alex to keep me distracted

A few hours later

Spark: Hey Ella, we gotta go to Sunshine's school for a meeting with the principal

Ella: Did she see what it was about?
