Chapter 2: secrets revealed

Not much has happened in the 2 month time skip between chapters, everyone is friendly with each other, Solar and Rose make a garden together, Spark and Sunshine for some reason leave for long periods of time and with all of the other weird things, Diamond has become very suspicious about Spark.

Pearl: Sunshine, can you go wake your brother up for me?

Sunshine: but he's already up

Pearl: not Solar, I ment Spark

Sunshine: oh

Sunshine enters Spark's room and presses a button on a box. The box then turns into a small robot who brings a piece of chocolate to a sleeping Spark.

Spark: *wakes up* ooh chocolate

Chocolate robot: What is my purpose?

Spark: you wake me up with chocolate

Chocolate robot: Oh. My. God

Spark: I still don't know why I gave you sentience if that's your only use. Anyway, what's up Sunshine?

Sunshine: Pearl needs you

Spark: oh, alright let's go!

Downstairs

Lapis: if you I didn't have that stupid robot I would just jump on you to wake you up

Spark: and I would make something to stop you

Lapis: your no fun

Pearl: good morning Spark

Spark: Morning, any chance you know where Jake is?

Pearl: he's out with Ella

Spark: And you're ok with it?

Pearl: Yup, it's just a walk. Anyway I need you to go get these from the grocery store

Spark: Alright, Sunshine, you wanna come with me?

Sunshine: Aye!!

Few minutes after they left

Pearl: Solar, can you wake Rose up for me?

Solar: I'll try

Upstairs

Solar: Rose, it's time to get up *nudging her a little*

Rose: *yawh* oh hey Solar, what's up?

Solar: it's 9 a.m. and I think Pearl needs you

Rose: oh, thanks for waking me up! *hugs Solar*

Solar: *hugs back while blushing* no problem

Latter

Spark: here you go Pearl

Pearl: Thanks so much Spark!

Spark: no problem

Rose: hey sunshine I got a surprise for you

Sunshine: What is big-sis Rose?

Rose: close your eyes first

Sunshine gets a red bow on her head

Solar: now you look even cuter than before!

Sunshine: thanks big-sis Rose!!

Solar and Rose: have fun!

Sunshine: da-big brother, what do you think

Spark: I guess the impossible is possible because you're even cuter than before!

Sunshine: Aye!

Latter

Ella was looking for Spark because she wanted to check on him after all his injuries

Ella: Spark? Are you here?

She then notices a weird device on Spark's desk

Ella: ooh I wonder what this does

Out of nowhere, something is shot out of the device and a portal is created

Ella: woah!! I wonder where this brings me

Ella enters the portal. She is brought to what looks like a science lab mixed with something you'd find in a video game.

Ella: (whoa!! This is so cool!)

???: *sigh* sometimes I just wish life could be simpler, guess some things are just like that.

Ella hides behind a box, trying not to be seen but pops her head up out of curiosity on who is talking

Spark: good night sunshine

Sunshine: goodnight daddy, could you play a song before I got to sleep?

Spark: sure thing

Spark picks up a guitar and tunes it a little. He then starts to play 1,000 light years away. As he plays, Sunshine becomes more and more sleepy, while Ella is so surprised by his singing. She might have been the one with the singing power, but Spark had so much skill it might as well have been another power. As the song finishes, all that could be heard was the quiet snoring from sunshine.

Spark: sweet dreams. *looking at where Ella is hiding* Ella, you can stop hiding, I know your here

Ella: how did you know?

Spark: got an alert that someone was using the backup portal gun and turned out to be you

Ella: sorry

Spark: hey, you did nothing wrong at all! If anything, I'm happy that the person who came here was you, someone I absolutely trust

Ella: I have a few question

Spark: shoot

Ella: Sunshine called you her daddy, but your still way too young to get married and have a kid

Spark: she's adopted. Found her abandoned one day and didn't want her to live a bad life so I adopted her and treated her like my own child

Ella: That's so sweet of you! But why did she call you big brother?

Spark: simple, a young kid like Sunshine calling me daddy would probably get some strange looks from people. So I told her to just call me big brother when no one else was around

Ella: But what about this lab?

Spark: simple story is I was given a rare extra power of insane smarts. I created a portal gun, a lab, and a new arm

Ella: Wait, new arm?

Spark: I... I don't really wanna say why I needed it but I lost my arm and had to replace it

Sparks arm turns into a more robotic looking arm

Spark: I thought I would turn a negative into a positive so I added a lot of things to it like a portal guns, weapons, and scanners

Ella: I'm always here if you wanna talk about what happened

Spark: maybe some time, but not yet

Ella: ok

Spark: So can I ask why you were looking for me?

Ella: oh, I just wanted to check in on you, Diamond best you up pretty badly

Spark: she short circuited my arm and caused some problems, but I'm fine besides that, only a few black and blue marks

Ella: That's good. So about that portal gun...

Spark: the one on my desk is all yours

Ella: why do you trust me with it though?

Spark: simple, we've been friends forever and I trust you the most out of everyone, and I thought if you ever wanted to visit me when you can't find me for whatever reason you can just hop through and we can do something

Ella: (blushing from what he said at the beginning) thanks

Spark: no problem
