Season 2 chapter 2: Clowning Around

Yesterday, Lapis and Rose had a bet that Rose lost. Today, Spark is helping Rose with her punishment

Spark: So let me get this straight. you lost the bet, and now you gotta go into the cosplayinator set to whatever is on this sticky note for an entire day?

Rose: Yup...

Solar: Don't worry, I bet you'll still be cute no matter what costume you come out with

Rose: *blushing* Thanks

Spark: Alright, machine is set

Rose: Here goes nothing...

Rose entered the machine and came out looking like your classic circus clown. White face paint, rainbow wig and outfit, red nose and shoes, not the kind that would scare anyone at all but the one that makes kids laugh.

Rose: Well, how do I look?

Solar: Aaaaaahhhh!!!!!

Solar the starts running away and crashes into a concrete wall knocking him out

Rose: I-is it that bad?

Spark: No no, it's not bad. If anything you look like the clowns that would make babies laugh. Solar is just really scared of clowns. So scared he once busted through a wall when he saw one.

Rose: So I'm dressed as a clown?

Spark: Mirror is over there

Rose looks at her reflection

Rose: You know what? I'm actually not that mad about this, I might even use this some other time

Spark: I'm happy your happy about this but I think currently we gotta help out your boyfriend

They both look over at Solar who is still knocked out

Spark: Todays probably gonna be rough for the both of you, you can't take the costume off and with Solar completely afraid of you it's not looking like the two of you will be hanging out much today

Rose: What should I do?

Spark: Honestly, right now my best idea is get through today and I think I have an idea to help him get over his fear. If anything goes wrong, let me know

Rose: Ok...

Later on Solar was still resting in bed due to the bleeding and other bruises he got from the wall while Rose was in her room sad that he is scared of him

Diamond: Sis? Can I come in?

Rose: Sure...

Diamond walks in and sits on Rose's bed

Diamond: Why so sad? Aren't clowns meant to make people laugh and have fun?

Rose: I'm just sad because Solar is scared of me. We spend so much time together and he's my favorite thing about every day and now he won't even come close to me.

Diamond: Maybe just try to talk to him, I'm sure he will be calm because he still loves you

Rose: I'm not sure...

Diamond: You never know, could work

Rose: Ok

Little bit later on in Solar's room

Rose: H-hey Solar

Solar: Aaaahhh!!!

Solar was about to run away but then suddenly his left eye turned red and he began to shoot fire at Rose

Rose: Aaaaahhh!!!!!

Time began to slow down and then came to a complete stop except for Rose

Rose: W-what's going on?
