The sound of the lift door opening caught me by surprise and I opened my eyes to see a long dark hallway stretched before me. My eyes widened as fear hit me for the first time since the Crystal Caves before the Knights of Ren arrived to save me from the Gorgodons. Somehow the temperature seemed to drop and a chill ran down my spine causing a shiver to ripple throw my body.
"You're afraid." The Supreme Leader's voice growled from his helmet as held me tightly to his body against the wall. "Good."
"Where are we?"
"My personal hall. Only the Knights and I have access to this floor."
"Oh."
I was unceremoniously dropped down to the floor but was able to maintain my footing as the Supreme Leader turned and walked away. With a deep calming breath I quickly followed the large man out of the lift as he headed away from me. I could feel so much dark energy around me that I wouldn't have been surprised if the Knights had popped out of the shadows at any moment.
"Stay close." The Supreme Leader turned his helmet slightly to look behind him and I walked faster until I was next to him.
We walked until we reached the end of the hall and two large doors loomed in front of us. When they split and parted the massive room in front of us was made entirely of stone and metal with a long walkway stretched out in front of us. At the end of that walkway sat a large stepped platform with a throne sitting atop it. The throne almost looked small on the massive platform and I wondered if that was what it had been originally built for.
I stopped at the end of the walkway and watched the Supreme Leader as he made his way up the steps. When he turned to face me I was not surprised as he lowered himself down into the stone throne behind him. The sound of the doors behind me opening filled the room and I glanced over my shoulders to see the Knights of Ren file in before one of them turned around and secured the door. A panel to the right of the door switched from light blue to red as I heard the locks click in place. I was now locked in a throne room with seven of the most dangerous men in the galaxy and yet I only felt a small amount of fear.
"What are you scared of?" The Supreme Leader's voice floated down from his perch and I turned back to face him.
"I don't know exactly. Just survival instinct I guess." I swallowed my anxiety as I answered him and felt the Knights form a half-circle around me.
"Do you fear my Knights?"
"I don't know if I fear them. I am cautious of them."
"Did we not just save you from the Gorgodons?" The Knight to my left with a smooth helmet asked as he slightly turned his body towards mine.
"Yes."
"Then why do you fear us in any amount?" The DeathTrooper masked one asked next and I looked to my right to stare at him.
There was something about the Knight that felt familiar but I couldn't place it. "I don't know."
"I can make you less anxious if you like." The Supreme Leader leaned back on his throne and I watched him flex his wrists slowly.
"How can you do that?" I asked with a skeptical tone.
"With the Force." The Supreme Leader's hand twitched slightly and I felt a warm sensation trickle down my spine. "You have much to learn, little Jedi."
"Do I?" I narrowed my eyes at the Supreme Leader even though I was beginning to feel slightly more comfortable.
"Yes, you do." His commanding distorted growl echoed in the room and suddenly I was on my knees.
