Necklace -Chapter 11

"Is this seat taken?" Everyone stops talking and stares at the direction the voice came from. I froze once I recognized who the voice belonged to and blushed slightly. Why am I blushing? Seriously get it together, Melanie! Jack looked at me and cleared his throat.

"Mel."

"Uh..oh...um. No, go ahead." I said as I turned around.

"You sure? Cause you don't seem too happy to see me."

"Well, we did just bump into each other this morning." I said as I watched him sit down next to me. He smiled. Kevin nugded me a little.

"Don't forget our emotions are attached. I can feel what your feeling right now. You can't lie to me." He paused as I casted a glare at him. He just smirked and continued, "He is quite attractive, dont you agree?" I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Don't. You. Dare!" He chuckled and raised his hands in surrender. I hadn't noticed that Zaine has been studing us for a little while untill I glaced over and he directed his eyes towards Kevin.

"Sibling link?"

"Yeah." Kevin replied as he went back to his sub sandwich. Damien tapped me on the arm and I twilred my head in surprised to make eye contact with him.

"Come on, lets get out of here." I raised and eyebrow at him in confusion.

"What?" Jack started laughing and leaned back in his chair.

"Hm. This sounds interesting." I glared at him, but it didn't do any good.

"Not funny, Jackie." He chuckled and crossed his arms over his chest. Damien smiled.

"Actually, Alpha Daren has assigned me to train and teach you everything you need to know. And connect you to the pack link." He added. Kevin and Jackie somehow found that funny and started to laugh, uncontrollably. I ignored them and focused on Damien.

"Alright. So, your here now because?...." Damien smiled and stood up.

"We are to start now."

"Wonder specifically what kind of training?" I rolled my eyes and threw a peice chicken at Kevin. "You're a horrible person, you know that?" I told my brother, he put his hand on his chest and gasp, pretending to be hurt by my insult. I rolled my eyes and turned and gave Damien my full attention again.

"Let's go then, I'll go grab my stuff and you can go tell the office I'm leaving and sign me out." And on that note I got up and walked away out of the cafeteria, to my locker.

'KEVIN'S POV'

Melanie and Jade walk over to the table. Melanie sat be me, like usual. And Jade sat my Zaine, like usual. He pecked her on the lips and wrapped a protective arm around her shoulders then continued to talk to the others sitting on the other side of him.

"Hey, Mel." Jack greeted Melanie as she and Jade made their way over to use.

"Hey, Jackie." I smirked at the way she calls him that. When we were little, the moment they met they introduced themselves they instantly made nicknames for each other, niether of liked them though. I still don't get why they still use them.

Jackie grimaced at the nickname. "You know I don't like being called that."

Melanie giggled lighlty to herself. "Right back at you." She fired back at him as she and Jade sat smiled. Jack rolled his eyes and smirked as he giggled a little to himself and shook his head.

"You know, I think Jackie sutes you." I bud into the conversation.

"I can tolerate her, but you absolutely cannot call me that." Jack growled at me. Jade and Melanie giggled.
