I Have Reasons! - Chapter 4

"You did it." Said Kevin seeming a little taken aback. I could see pride and happiness shimmering in his eyes.

"I did what? Wait. How am I talking?" I start to panic in confusion. Kevin chuckled in amusement to the sight of me freaking out. He swiftly walked over to me and nuzzled me as he took a deep breath of my scent. I did the same. His smell made me relax and happy, he smelled so good. Kind of like me. It actually was kind of creepy to have my twin brother smell like me. Kind roses and vanilla mixed together. His fur was so soft and warm.

"You smell that to." Kevin said as he nuzzled closer to me.

"What is it?" I asked.

"It's our scent."

"Our scent?"

"Most siblings have their own scent to symbolize their bound together."

"Oh."

"And they have a special way of communicating when in their wolf form that only they can hear."

"Like a...sibling link?" Kevins laugh floated into my head. Okay, I am so going to have to get used to that. Boggles my mind. 

"Yeah. How'd you know?" Kevin asked as he pulled away from me and looked me in the eye as he cocked his head to one side in confusion. I looked down, somewhat embarrassed, not able to look him the eye.

"Books?" I attempted to state but ended up questioning it from be judge by loving something moat despise. Books are my haven, they take me out of the real world and let my crazy imagantion sprout to life. It's a great feeling and also very educational. I love learning so bonus for me.

Kevin smiled and let out a little chuckle and pushed my head up lightly with his paw so I'd be facing him again. I cast my eyes down resisting the look into his eyes. I felt mine change color, or at least I'm sure that's what this weird feeling into eyeball, face area means, again and he must have felt it too cause when he didn't say anything  I looked up at him and noticed his eyes weren't his usual Dark emerald green color, like mine. They were a light blue.

"And yours are purple." He said. I looked at him bewildered. How did he know I was confused at his sudden change in eye color?

"I felt you."

"You felt me?"

"Since we are twins we share special powers. Meaning our bond is stronger than any other werewolves, twins are exceptional, special, one of a kind. One thing from the bond that we can feel each others feelings. When you got embarrassed your eyes changed color to match that feeling. I felt you were embarrassment and it effected me, causing me to feel upset with myself for making you feel embarrassed about something that you should have pride about and my eyes changed as well to match my emotion."

"Then how did you know I was wondering why your eyes changed?"

"It kind of works the same way." Kevin paused and motioned his head towards the woods before he started to walk into the woods. I followed him, eager to get awnsers after all this time.

"Just like it is of how we can feel each others emotions. We can hear each others thoughts too."

"Okay. Good. Then you already know im pretty much pissed at you right now."

"Yeah, Melanie. I do. But I have my reasons of my strange behavior since we fond Ruby in the woods the day."

"What did that wolf want with her anyway?" Kevin stopped and turned to look at me and sat down. His eyes went from the light blue from earlier to a deep dark blue. He whimpered lowly to himself. And I could feel he was upset for some reason. I could feel my eyes change color and I looked at him worriedly but I'm still pretty pissed with him. And right then I feel my eyes changed color again.
