Uncle Daren smiles and walks up to me.
"Okay. Follow me." I looked up at Kevin confused. He gave that assuring smile as he put his hand on my back, giving me a little push to follow Uncle Daren. I turned my head the direction of where Charrolate had been sitting. She was now standing right behind Kevin, holding his hand. I laughed a little to myself and rolled my eyes as I turned back around and started following Uncle Daren.
Uncle Daren led us to a pretty big clearing in the middle of the woods. He stopped and turns to look at Charrolate.
"Charrolet. Take Melanie behind that tree and help her." Charrolate smiled and nodden. She held out her hand to me.
"Come on." I looked at her. She really is starting to bother me with how perfect she does things. I sighed lightly and took her hand. And walked over to the tree farthest away from the boys.
"Don't get too excited now." I twirled my head around and glared at Kevin. I couldn't belive him! Seriouly!?
"Hm. Just you wait. That additude of yours is gonna change in a few moments."
"I'd like to see you try." I smiled, wiggling my eyebrows and giggled to myself as Kevin stood there smiling and laughing as he shook his head looking at me up and down. Accepting my challenge. Charrolate looked at Kevin then at me.
"Sibling link?" I looked at her a little confused as to why she would know.
"Uh...yeah. How'd you know?"
"Im a werewolf too."
"Huh?"
"Well...not exactly. Im a hybrid of a shapeshifter and a werewolf. So half, but it works all the same except I can shapeshift into pretty much anything."
"Huh. I geuss that makes sense."
"I knew you recognized me earlier."
"Ruby. Your hair. And I'm my wolf has a connection to you?" Charrolate smiled and nodded as she walked around behind a tree and let go of my hand.
"Yup. Thats me. Okay. So in order for you to form into your wolf you'll have to strip." I gave her a 'Are-you-messing-with-me?' look and raised one eyebrowd as I slightly turned my head. Uh. Come again? Does she want me to just strip all of my clothes off in front her? Charrolate smiled cheerfully. Is she amused? Cause I really don't see how any of this is funny.
"I told you not to get excited." Kevins annoying voice floated into my head.
"Oh, shut your pie Hole. I will find a way to block you out my mind after this. Now leave me alone until then." He chuckled, "As you wish, my lady." Oh, he is so going to get it later.
I crossed my arms over my chest and waited for her explaination. She laughed.
"Not all of them. Silly! Only down to your bra and underwear."
"Wouldn't they get ripped and ruined when I change form?"
"Nope. It's easier this way actually."
"Okay..." I took off my shoes and socks and trew them near the trunck of the tree. Charrolate smiled and nodded and turned around. Of course! She has to be so polite to others. Talk about treat others the way you'd want to be treated. Gosh. I pulled my shirts over my head and my hair fell gracfully over to one side. I pulled down my shorts and took my legs out of the loops. I carefully folded my clothes and set them one my shoes.
"Alright." Charrolate turned back around look me in the eye. Wow. She's in total serious mode right now. Okay. I geuss I should pay close attention. But she's still smiling.
"So changing into you wolf form is just like changing back into your human form. Close your eyes and just imagane your wolf and what it felt like." I closed my eyes and thought of my wolf. Her jet black fur, dark emerald green eyes that change by mood, her incredibally strong legs, her sharp scense of smell and eye sight and speed and strength. I heard cracking sounds andy whole body aches. But it was endurable.
"Melanie. You did it. You can open yours eyes now." I opened my eyes and turned my head to see back. There's my fur. I was so excited I did it I let out a little joyfull bark and ran around in circles, chacing my tail and bouncing around. Charrolate giggled and motioned me to follow her. She walked out from behind the tree, as did I.
"She did it." Charrolate stated as we made our way back over to the boys. I slowly trotted my way over and sat next to Kevin. My wolf was almost as big as he is tall in human form. Just maybe one or two, maybe three inches below his head. Kevin laughed and canged into his wolf form. Uncle Daren stood there shocked.
"Huh...She really did do it." He smiled and laughed as he looked at me.
"Kevin's right. Your still as beutifull as you are in your human form."
Uncle Daren paused and smirked.
"Just like you brother." I smiled and studied the ground as Kevin glared playfully at Uncle Daren.
"Melanie. Do you know why it's so important you found your wolf?"
I picked up my head, stood up and looked at Kevin standing right next to me.
"Have you've forgetten that i've just found out that werewolves and shapesifters are actually real, not just creatures someone thought up of and wrote it all down in a book."
Kevin smiled and looked at Unlce Daren and nodded. I looked at them confused. Next thing I know Uncle Daren is in his wolf form. He's way bigger than me and Kevin. Almost about the size of a horse. Which is just a few more feet bigger than I am. He has solid bronze color fur and big white and brown spots here and there. Complimented with golden eyes. If you look close enough you can see brown flakes in them.
Now I know why he's the Alpha. He's HUGE! He's the wolf with just one look your tail finds it's way between your hind legs. He's so intimidating. Kevin walked close to me, our sides pressing against each others. He nuzzled his nose on mine.
"Show him how fast you are."
I nodded and looked up at Uncle Daren. He smiled and motioned his head the direction he wants me to runs to. I started out trotting into the woods and than gradually picked up the pace I smelled Kevin a little ways back and Uncle Daren not far ahead of him. I ran fatster and made a left turn, going deeper into the woods. This part of the woods have way more trees and not as many paths and clearings.
I swiftly weave my way through the trees easily with not one problem. I heard the footsteps fade away as I run even faster. I weave through the remaning of the trees and slow down as I reach a small clearing. I've been running for about ten minutes now so I stop and turn around to wait for Kevin and Uncle Daren. I clould run for hours on end or more and still not be tired. My breathing is perfecting normal. Is that normal?
"No....It's not."
I looked up to where the voice came from. Kevin was walking into the clearing and panting pretty hard.
"Did you really have to run that hard to keep up with me? Or well, at leat to stay at somewhat of a close distsnce." He just rolled his eyes and plopped down on the ground, still panting. Whoa. I hope he doesnt pass out.
"Very good Melanie." I fronze. How is Uncle Daren communicating with me? Maybe he's using the pack link? I know know wolves travel on packs and if there's a sibling link there should be back link too, right? Like the family link and the special link with your mate. Okay, I read way too many supernatural romance books, I know. I can't help it. I turned around so I could see him, face to face. He looked a little tired. But not as tired as Kevin. That's for sure. Probaly cause of his size. Uncle Daren's lungs may be bigger than his. He slowly walked over to me after he caught his breath and pressed his forehead against mine.
"I knew you were special."
Me? Special? He must have mistaken.
"Welcome to my Midnight tribe. You'll be a great useful official addition to our pack. I'll assign one of the pack members that is capable of keeping up with you and train you. Ralphs suspisions are correct. You're the full moon."
Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Wait. What!? Me? Special!? full moon!? And what does my father have to do with this?
