You know that feeling you get when you can't remember something? Like a cloudy, annoying, numbness in your brain that stays there and grows the harder you try to figure out what that is you're too remember. I hate it. I despise it. How is anyone suppose to know, let alone memorize what exactly makes up nitrogen and the chemical formula!? I honestly don't even know why I took chemistry. Yeah, it's required to be able to graduate, what isn't? But could it at least be idiot proof? My brain sees this long ass test and just goes, pfft. I look up at the clock and see class only started three minutes ago. Yup, I'm going to die from suffocation, painfully and slowly. This is going way too slow, and I know nothing.

Mallory, one of the smartest kids in our school doubles up on science classes each year and semester. I don't know how she remembers and keeps up with all the work. And still keep those grades fresh.

"Gezz, Melanie. Nitrogen is a gaseous, non-metallic chemical element made of seven protons and seven electrons."

"Maii!? How do you know this!?"

"It's my job to know things you don't."

"Wow, thanks. That was a fantastic way of calling me stupid."

"I'm here to help."

"Good, cause you'll have to repeat that again."

"Uhg, Nitrogen is a gaseous, non-metallic chemical element made of seven protons and seven electrons." I write it down as she repeats the answer.

"Okay, so then what's the formula?" I ask Maii with genuine curiosity.

She sighs, "You do know that this is a all werewolf school, right?"

"Yeah, so?"

"The teachers would know when you're talking to me." I look up at the teacher and see he's typing hastily on the computer, scribbling stuff on paper, clicks, then goes back to typing. He's so engrossed in his work, I'm sure he wouldn't even notice.

"He's not even paying attention."

"Fine, but you shouldn't get used to this. Its practically cheating. The formula is just N2." I write it down in the designated area.

"Actually if you think about it. It's not cheating, cause you're part of me and I am part of you. Which makes me you and you me. In which we're one."
