Oliver sighed in frustration the moment he walked towards school with his best friend Blake who was listening to music in his earphones.
"It's Oliver!"
"Omg! It's Oliver and Blake! Gosh their both just handsome."
"I know right! Notice me!"
The said boy couldn't help but click his tongue in annoyance hearing the annoying voices of his self-proclaimed fans. In his opinion they were just nuisance who couldn't stop bothering him, which was why he ignored them as if they don't exist.
But for some reason the so call fans just find that 'attractive'. They seriously need some mental care, is what Oliver thinks as he avoids being surrounded by them on his way to his locker.
An annoyed expression made its way on his pale face the moment he opened his locker. Several pieces of white colored enveloped fell from his locker. This sight made his friend snicker while looking at his miserable friend.
"Well, being a heartthrob sure is difficult huh?" Blake teased the already annoyed boy beside him who was still frowning as he picked up the envelopes and threw them in the nearby trash bin.
"Isn't cruel to just throw those away? Why not read them? "Blake asked his friend who still had a frown on his face.
"The heck you saying? You want me to waste my precious time reading this garbage? Hard pass." Oliver said looking annoyed at his friend.
"Dude, your too cruel. Just read one letter, it ain't hard." Blake said trying to somehow convince his friend.
Blake looked at his unconvinced friend and sighed. A lilac colored envelope caught his eye, he picked it up and saw that it was addressed to his best friend.
To Oliver Smith
"Here, just read this one. It's only one letter." Blake said handing the lilac colored envelope to his friend who glared at the paper before taking it.
"Why this one?" Oliver asked looking at the piece of paper still annoyed. "No reason, aside from the fact it's the only one with a different color." Blake admitted.
Before Oliver could respond the bell rung signaling the start of their classes. The two boys then hurriedly left the locker room and made their way to their classrooms.
After classes, the two boys made their way to the bus stop and waited for the bus to arrive.
"Have you read the letter yet?" Blake asked his friend who still had his stoic expression.
"No. Do I really have to read it?" Oliver asked his friend who only nodded. "Look Oli, whoever wrote that letter put effort into making it. Consider it an act of appreciation. Plus, it's not like it's poisoned or anything." Blake explained with a grin.
"I thought, I already told you not to call me that." Oliver said annoyed, his friend ignored this and simply scrolled on his phone.
"The bus won't be here in ten minutes. You can read the letter now and then it'll be over. It's not like you're even going to reply to it anyway." Blake suggested. Surprisingly his friend agreed and took out the lilac colored envelope.
Oliver, inspected it for a few seconds before opening it and pulling out a neatly folded piece of paper.
Dear Oliver,
Hello, I hope you're having a good day. I honestly don't know if your reading this or not since you probably have thrown this in the trash along the rest of the letters you receive.
So, the sender didn't expect that I'd be reading this? Well, they were right. I wouldn't have if it weren't for Blake.
It isn't really a secret that you threw them since you don't hide that fact. Anyway, I wrote this letter in hopes that I could let my cope-up feelings for you out without the chance of being rejected in person.
