Oliver woke up in a rather excited mood, his usual calm demeanor was still there with a visible happy mood. Making his way down to the kitchen a savory aroma entered his nostrils making his stomach grumble.

"Well, looks like the birthday boy is awake. Happy Birthday sweetie." a middle-aged woman with a bob hairstyle greeted him while holding a plate of his favorite dish.

"Thanks mom." Oliver thanked the woman with a small smile as he sat down the table. "Anything for my little boy. You should eat, you still have school today." she said as she placed the dishes in front of him.

"Also, after school well be going out to your favorite restaurant. Your dad made reservation, knowing he'd be at work before you woke up." she added, Oliver only hummed in understanding before he begun eating his breakfast.

once he was all set for school, Oliver bid his mom goodbye and made his way to the bus stop, while waiting he was secretly hoping his admirer would send him a letter today, as he really looks forward to it.

as soon as the bus arrived Oliver got in and sat on a vacant seat at the back. He placed his bag beside him saving a seat for his best friend who would be arriving soon.

they only needed to stop by one more stop before they reach his best friend's address. He just stared at the window next to him when he heard someone talk to him.

when he glanced at the direction of the voice his eyes widen. It was that girl he saw during practice, the one wearing a lilac headband.

the girl looked equally shocked as him and seemed to be regretting her decision on something. "Um, I was wondering if I can seat beside you? There's no vacant seat left." The girl said in a small voice.

Oliver took a quick look around and saw that the bus was indeed packed so he just nodded taking his backpack off the seat next to him and putting in on his lap.

The girl sat next to him leaving enough space between them. She looked at her watch and furrowed her brows. Oliver didn't realize he was staring at the girl for too long, until he heard the familiar voice of an annoying friend.

Blake called out to Oliver and was about to sit next to him when he realized someone else was beside his friend. It was the girl named Valerie.

He kept his mouth shut and stood near the two as there were no vacant seats left. The bus was packed, Blake just quietly hoped that a vacant seat would soon come as he didn't feel like standing the duration of the ride.

Even if it was only half an hour long. "Hey Oli, Happy Birthday!" Blake greeted his friend who gave a small smile before muttering a thank you.

"Hey, got any plans after school? The team was hoping to hang out later." Blake asked his friend who was glancing at the girl beside him who looked fidgety.

Was she not comfortable? She looked as if she was contemplating her life choices.

Blake who noticed this couldn't help but grin. He knows Valerie, the girl isn't as popular but she was still known.

Valerie Anderson. The girl who is currently in top 10 in their class, someone who's known to be pretty, smart and shy. Although, Blake just thinks the girl doesn't like talking.

Blake often talks with Valerie's friend Maddie, the girl known to be a chatterbox at their class. She wasn't as smart as Val but she was more athletic.

The sporty friend. Blake glanced at Val who seemed very timid. She was a rather mysterious person, although that's probably only because the girl doesn't talk much about herself.

"Hey V!" A cheery voice was heard, the three teens glanced at the source and a girl with a ponytail was seen.

"Eh?! The Ice prince and Blake?!"she said shocked visible on her face. She looked at her friend in worry, thinking the so-called Ice prince said anything mean to her best friend. She'd definitely put him on blacklist.
