The second quarter exams had just finished and the students of Rivera University are now celebrating. The past week was hellish for the students as the constant reviewing of notes and passing of projects had stressed and fried their braincells.
And now that the week has passed, they can now breath out in relief. Students are now relaxing back and letting loose, some even treat themselves to a night out or just staying at home lying in bed getting the sleep they lost while reviewing.
Oliver who was making his way to the locker area with Blake was feeling more relaxed. Although he still had the same stoic expression, his atmosphere was quite calm.
"Stress week is finally over!" Blake happily exclaimed, Oliver only blankly stared at his friend who was struggling last week with dealing with the math subject.
"Wanna go to the bar? Boys night out." Blake suggested to his friend who had stepped back with the expression of shock and disgust. Mostly disgust.
Oliver's eyes twitched in annoyance as multiple white colored envelope fell out his locker. He clicked his tongue in annoyance, Blake who saw this couldn't help but laugh at his friend's misery.
"Pfft-Hahahahahaha!"
Oliver glared at his friend who was still laughing as he scanned the fallen letters. He was looking for the usual lilac colored envelope he would receive once a week.
Furrowing his brows, he sighed as he squatted down and flipped the letters in hopes to find the lilac one.
"Hmm? What you looking for? The usual letter you always read?" Blake asked in a teasing manner which was naturally ignored by the other male who was busy flipping through the letters.
A frown appeared on Oliver's face seeing that the lilac envelope he was looking for was no were in sight. Did his admirer forgot to send him one this week?
An unknown feeling crept into him and his friend who saw this noticed a rather scary aura surround the quiet male.
"Dude? Your emitting a really scary vibe here." Blake muttered backing away slowly feeling scared. Oliver ignored this statement and proceeded to throw out every single one of the 'filthy' letters to the nearby trash can.
It has been another week and Oliver hasn't received any letter from his admirer making him extra gloomy. Poor Blake had to be near his friend who was emitting a scary aura and was feeling very cranky.
Oliver who was feeling frustrated, slammed his locker which nearly gave Blake a heart attack. Oliver whose mood was already bad got worse seeing the usual letters he would always ignore falling out his locker.
He clicked his tongue in displeasure and squatted down to pick the letters up to throw them. While picking up the letters his eyes caught a glimpse of a familiar lilac envelope.
His eyes widen and he felt his heart thumping loudly in his chest. Oliver quickly picked up the envelope and inspected it seeing the familiar penmanship. Blake stared at his friend who had a small smile on his face, he was already curious on why his friend kept reading those letters, now he was even more curious.
"Your telling me the reason you were extra grumpy this past week was cause of that?" Blake asked his friend who placed the lilac envelope in his bag while throwing out the rest.
"Dude, did cupid finally hit you with an arrow?" Oliver who heard this just snorted and quickly closed his locker as soon as he finished throwing out the rest of the letters.
"Mind telling me what's written in those letters that you look forward to them every week?" Blake asked, he was really invested in finding out how this would go. He was always worried his friend who despite being popular among girls might end up being single for life.
