Hello my faithful readers,
this is a part-time-apology/explanation letter. I was away at boarding school. Please do understand that the regular schedule contains 4 months of school(which means four months of absolutely no access to Wattpad.) but two months of holiday. I have been writing against time so that there are enough chapters to last during my school time. So you all have nothing to worry about.I apologize for the delay.
Sincerely,
your author.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"That was horrid!"
"Cass-"
"I swear to lord, troll in the dungeon"
"You're shouting a little-"
"What a safe place it is this Hogwarts."
"Why don't you calm down before we-"
Cass whirls around to face an anxious Draco
"Oh the poor boy", says Rabastan.
"Calm down? You're telling me to calm down? When they let a troll into the castle? Into BLOODY HOGWARTS?"
Theo immediately puts his hand over his ears and keeps them there. Carina simply sighs.
"You're being dramatic Cass."
"I'm being dramatic?"
"The problem has been taken care of!"
"But does that mean that it is acceptable?", Walburga arches an eyebrow in dumbledores direction.
"It was taken care of by bloody Harry Potter! Not one of the teachers made it in time!"
Silence.
this time both on-screen and in the great hall. James Potter gets up slowly.
"You let my son, fight a full-grown troll?", his voice resembles an oncoming storm, one that would go on for a while if let loose.
Lilly gets up too and tugs at James' hand. "Let it go James, not right now. We need to continue the movie. Not right now. Let it go."
Abraxtus scoffs, "The mudblood is right boy, sit back down. You're interrupting something important."
Lily turns beet red and James fumes silently but both take a seat.
The movie continues.
"And what-", starts Carina, walking towards the other girl.
"Do you think we can do about it? We are juniors, Cass, be thankful that you and I weren't the ones dealing with that.....thing!" Carina looked around at the rest of her friends.
"Or anyone else for that matter.", and with that, the Black heiress simple turned around and walked into the girl's dormitory.
"The girl has common sense", nods Cygnus black approvingly.
"Well," exhales Theo, collapsing onto a chair. "It certainly was a Halloween Spook alright."
Dear Carina,
Are you alright?
You complain in paragraphs over your transfiguration and potions essays but casually deliver to me the fact that there had been a troll in the castle and that Harry Potter and his friends were the ones to take it down. Sometimes, dear sister. I worry for you.Everyone is doing well. Narcissa misses you all dearly and expresses it every time I see her. Mother and father have been the usual, busy during the day and free during the evening s. We all sit in the hall and usually do our own thing.
I've grown a little taller, you might be in for a surprise when you see me. (that is if you haven't grown any taller than the last time I saw you)
I have been re-reading the little women (I hope you have received your copy through Ares). It wasn't the same as reading with you but it did suffice.
Try writing a little more to me next time. I know you are busy, but I'm deathly bored over here. Your letters are one of the very few things keeping me alive.
Celeste.
Ps: This year, for Christmas, you and the lot get to go to the ball. You must tell me everything you see! I have wanted to go for so long. Mama and papa seem to enjoy themselves thoroughly always. How fun would it be for you to dance away the night?
"Their bond never fails to amaze me."
"How pure!"
Whispers of positive comments flitted around the Great Hall and not for the first time since the movie had began, Sirius felt an ache in his chest. One of the longings for the times he and his brother would write to each other.
"I'm cold."
"And I'm dying but that doesn't mean we can weasel our way out. Come.", grabbing her friend's hand, Cass pulled Carina to the library.
"Oh, dear! I forgot my parchments and quill in the dorm."
"You can borrow mine. I have spares."
"She isn't going to let go of Carina today is she?"
"I think not."
Both the girls enter the library to find Zabini already sitting there.
"Oh wonderful!", exclaims Carina, collapsing onto a chair.
"Not only am I stuck with one study freak but also another idiot that refuses to keep me company. Where on earth is my cousin?", she says, raising her voice as made Pince shushes her once. Carina sticks her tongue out in return.
"Oh how childish"
"Stop it, Carina, you might be good at all subjects but just revise already."
"Show-offs."
Carina simply rolls her eyes but otherwise keeps quiet. Everything is going well until-
"It's the end of the world, I tell you! It s the end! Disaster will break" Draco walks in, a sheen of sweat covering his pallid face, a parchment clutched tightly in his hands.
"What now?"
"Oh, dear!"
"I don't like where this is going."
