Saturday..
"I can't believe it, Elle." Layla huffs out a breath of air as she quickly goes through all the hangers in her closet, inspecting any piece of clothing hanging on them.
"Mhm.." Elle uninterestedly says from across the room by a mirror, one of her eyes shut as the other one is open whilst she tries to stick some fake eyelashes onto her eyes.
"It's been in front of us this whole time-" Layla stops and stares at a dress before rolling her eyes and moving on to the rest, "-i mean all the things i've said to her, and all the arguments, and all of it. It's horrible. It actually is, don't you think?" Layla asks.
"Mhm.." Elle says, her voice even more uninterested this time as she's on her second eye.
"You're not even listening, are you?" Layla turns to look over her shoulder at Elle.
Elle's attention is taken away from her eyelashes and to Layla. They look at each other through the mirror.
"Layla, i don't know why you've got yourself all worked up about this, it's not like you ever knew, and she's been a bitch to you since the minute you met her, you only ever started hating her cause of how much she picked on you. Stop feeling guilty." Elle says with a sigh, before going back to sticking her eyelashes on.
"That's the thing.. i think i've always known." Layla says guiltily, eyeing Elle for a response. "Layla, stop stressing." Elle says, clearly annoyed by Layla.
"Do you know if she's going to this gaff?" Layla asks, turning back to finding a dress. "Probably." Elle responds. "Good, i'm gonna try and talk to her." Layla replies, confidently as she pulls out a good dress with a smile on her face when she puts up on herself and turning to the mirror.
"And it'll go great." Layla smiles.
A few hours later..
Red and Layla hadn't spoken, mainly because Layla couldn't find Red and Red didn't even realise Layla was there, and didn't expect her to be either ever since what had happened at the other gaff. By now, mostly everyone has thrown up at least once and a fraction of the people are passed out. The rooms are occupied by people shagging. And of course, Red is searching for a toilet, as usual.
On the search for the toilet Red suddenly bumps into the last person she would want to bump into.
"Re..d!" Layla smiles lazily, clearly way too drunk to even speak properly.
"Oh for fucks sake." Red mutters under her breath, before she speeds away, Layla grabbing onto her just before she's too far away.
"Get off!" Red shouts at her before attempting to shake Layla off, but she's holding on that tight it's actually impossible.
Suddenly, a group of boys are stumbling and laughing, getting extremely close to Layla before Red quickly pulls Layla close to her in a quick motion.
Layla's eyes are barely open when she looks up at Red, Red's warm veiny hands tightly wrapped around Layla's exposed cold arms as Layla's hands are loose. "What the fuck are you even doing here?" Red speaks when the boys are gone. Red breathes out a huff of concentrated alcohol but yet she still seems more sober than Layla, bodies still extremely close.
"I- I.. Me!" Layla attempts to point at herself but fails due to Red's tight grip around her. Red deadly stares at Layla, she's a horrible drunk. Is all she thinks to herself.
"Hi." Layla suddenly says, Red furrowing her eyebrows.
"Been- been- lookin' for- you, Red." Layla's hand's softly tighten around Red's veiny arms, Red flinches but remains to stare down at Layla. "I've- been looki- looking.." All of a sudden Layla is turning green as her lips whiten.
