Back at the building in the middle of nowhere about a day later, the Ghostbusters were out cold. Despite this, Winston could still feel the pain from the injuries he had sustained from the torture he and his friends had be subjected to. His throat was dry and sore from the lack of water. He drifted through the memories of him and Tiyah, remembering their relationship before Tiamat had stolen it. But now, they had a chance to reclaim it and be happy again which was now under the threat of being taken away by Peck and Hardemyer.

All of a sudden, Winston felt a cold wave of water wash over him. The former Marine's eyes flew open and he gasped sharply making the pain in his side flare. He choked on some water and when he looked up, he saw Hardemyer standing over him with an empty bucket and an evil grin. Winston turned his head slightly and saw Peter, Ray, and Egon were soaked as well.

"What...the hell...?" Winston got out in between gasps.

"Quite a wake up call isn't it?" Jack said tauntingly.

"What was...that...for...?" Ray asked as he spat out water.

"Had to make sure none of you were dead yet." Walter replied.

"Only thing dead are your souls." Peter spat out.

Peck angrily grabbed Peter, shoved him against the wall and pressed his taser into Peter's abdomen. It was on a lower setting since full power would kill him since he was soaked. But it was still painful. The psychologist had to use all of his strength not to give Peck the satisfaction of seeing him in pain. Peck then shoved him to the ground.

"Peter!" Winston cried out.

"Don't hurt him." Egon gasped.

"I have to admit, it's adorable how much you four care for each other." Jack said with a taunting tone and grin.

"Oh definitely." Walter added evilly, "Your loyalty is admirable but it won't save you."

"But it's...something you...can't take...from us.." Egon got out in between breaths.

"Maybe not, but it can certainly get you into trouble." Walter replied.

Egon wasn't looking at him so Walter reached out his hand to lift his head to face him. When he got close enough, the physicist bit the ginger man hard on his hand.

"OWW!" Walter yelped as he pulled back his hand. A small trickle of blood appeared. Jack grabbed Egon by his torn collar, pulled him up, and threw him against the wall. Spots of color and pain flashed before Egon's eyes as he fell to the ground. Peck then kicked him hard in his side, surely breaking a couple of ribs. He grabbed the physicist by his hair and pulled his head to face him.

"Egon..." Ray called out before coughing harshly.

"Apparently you haven't learned your lesson yet." Walter snarled as his raging green eyes bore deep into Egon's unfocused and glassy blue eyes.

"No...you haven't...learned...yours...yet..." Egon spat out.

Peck responded by throwing the physicist's head to the ground.

"Stop...don't hurt him..." Peter said on the verge of tears.

"Aww, don't worry Dr. Venkman, I'll stop now." Walter said mockingly, "Cause we have other plans for you four."

"Walter, can I talk to you real quick?" Jack asked as he tugged on the other man's arm.

"Sure. Be right back." Walter replied as he and Jack left the room. A few minutes later, they returned.

"Well, unfortunately we don't have everything we need for our next plan so that means we're gonna have to leave." Walter said.

"So don't get any funny ideas." Jack added with a harsh tone, "Especially you Dr. Venkman."
