Upon hearing what Janine said, Drs. Kim and Spence looked at each other with a bit of hesitancy. But looking back at the ladies, they decided it wasn't worth it to downplay the severity of the injuries the Ghostbusters had sustained.

"Are you absolutely sure?" Dr. Kim asked.

"Yes, we are." Dana replied, "And we want to know."

"Ok, but it's not pretty." Dr. Spence warned. He and Dr. Kim proceeded to tell the ladies the truth about the Ghostbusters' injuries.

Ray had suffered a fractured right knee and had bruises all over him, external and internal. His lungs had been bruised from blunt force trauma, causing fluid to build up and difficulties breathing. He had a stab wound on his left thigh, which had become slightly infected, a dislocated left shoulder and an infected cut on his right hand. He also had two broken ribs and four cracked, several lacerations, a concussion, and a black eye.

Peter, although he wasn't as hurt as the others, had several infected burn injuries on his abdomen and his left leg was broken as a result of being hit by the car. He had a black eye, a few deep lacerations (particularly on his chest), a concussion, three broken ribs and three cracked. The psychologist had also sustained bruised lungs which had become congested and a fractured right wrist.

Winston had a broken left arm, multiple cuts and lacerations requiring stitches, some internal bleeding, a concussion, and three broken ribs with four cracked. He had suffered blunt force trauma to the left side of his face, which not only left a nasty bruise, but damaged several of his teeth and nearly broke his jaw. Like Peter and Ray, the Marine's lungs were bruised and congested and his right one had collapsed.

Finally, there was Egon who was in the worst shape out of the four. He had a broken right ankle, a fractured orbit bone underneath his right eye, multiple cuts, bruises, and lacerations all over his body and a concussion. He also had several stab wounds on his abdomen, which had become slightly infected, and a deep laceration on his right side which had led to internal bleeding in his abdominal cavity and severe blood loss, requiring several transfusions. In addition, the physicist had suffered three broken ribs, two cracked ribs, and damaged lungs, in which his left had collapsed.

In addition to their physical injuries, Peter, Ray, Egon and Winston were all severely dehydrated and malnourished and were on IVs to replenish any lost fluids and nutrients. All four required breathing assistance, but any permanent injuries could not be determined until they regained consciousness.

"Honestly, it's a miracle that they're still alive and not paralyzed." Dr. Kim commented.

Janine, Jenny, Dana, and Tiyah had felt their chests tightened as they listened to the doctors and now, they stood in horror, shock, uncertainty, but a bit of relief that the guys were still alive.

"Do you know when they'll wake up?" Jenny asked.

"The anesthesia hasn't worn off yet, but even when it does, I don't imagine they'll be conscious for a few days." Dr. Spence replied.

"Can...can we see them?" Janine tentatively asked.

"Of course." Dr. Kim replied, "We had to put them in separate rooms, so Ms. Melnitz, Ms. Moran, you can come with me. Ms. Barrett and Ms. Clarke, you can follow Dr. Spence."

"Thank you both so much." Tiyah said gratefully.

The two doctors led the four women down one of the long, quiet corridors. Dr. Spence then took Dana and Tiyah down another hallway while Dr. Kim continued down the hall with Janine and Jenny. She then stopped in front of a closed door.

"Here's Dr. Stantz's room, Ms. Moran. Take all the time you need."

"Thank you Dr."

Dr. Kim opened the door slightly. "Ms. Melnitz, you can follow me."
