Author's pov.
It was Friday, and for the past few days, Chaeryeong had been leaving Yeji at her apartment to watch TV, hoping that movies would teach Yeji about the outside world, human life, and even how to speak.
After school, Chaeryeong headed back to her apartment. When she opened the door, she was surprised to hear someone call her name. Yeji ran over and hugged her. "Chaeryeong-ah, home, welcome!" Yeji said cheerfully. Chaeryeong stood in shock. "Yeddeong, are you really talking?" she asked, wide-eyed. "Yes, Cherry," Yeji replied proudly with a smile.
Overwhelmed with happiness, Chaeryeong hugged Yeji tightly. "This calls for a celebration," she said, pulling out the bag of beef she had bought earlier. "I'll cook it first," she added, heading to the kitchen. After putting her bag away and changing into comfy clothes, she started cooking. Thirty minutes later, dinner was ready, and they decided to eat in the living room while watching movies.
Chaeryeong set everything on the living room table and called Yeji to eat. "Yeddeong, it's time to eat," she called from the bedroom. "Coming!" Yeji replied excitedly as she hurried to join Chaeryeong in the living room. The two girls ate together while watching movies. Afterward, Chaeryeong took care of the dishes and returned to watch with Yeji again.
During the movie, Yeji suddenly asked, "Cherry, what's a kiss on the lips?" Her innocent question caught Chaeryeong off guard. "Ahh, it's something you only do with someone you love," Chaeryeong answered awkwardly. "Ehh, so I can do that to you too! Because I love you, and umma and appa too," Yeji said, surprising Chaeryeong even more.
"Ahh, no, it's not like that. You can't do that with your family!" Chaeryeong explained, still flustered. "Oh, really? Then who should I give it to?" Yeji asked, confused. "To someone new you love," Chaeryeong replied. "Where do I find that person?" Yeji asked again. "That person will come when the time is right. You'll know they're the one when your heart beats fast, you feel comfortable around them, and being with them makes you happy," Chaeryeong explained gently.
"Ohhh," said Yeji, "can I ask, Cherry, why did you stop kissing my head and cheeks after I became human?" Yeji asked sadly. "Ahh, I... I kinda, umm, feel awkward now compared to when you were a cat," Chaeryeong replied. "Why do you feel awkward? I'm still the same Yeji you know!" Yeji said, her voice tinged with sadness. "I know you're still you, Yeddeong, but you're different now," Chaeryeong admitted, making Yeji feel even sadder. "Can you kiss my forehead and cheeks? I miss it so much—it's what you always did when I was a cat," Yeji pleaded.
"Okay, I'll kiss you, but just this once," Chaeryeong said, causing Yeji to feel a mix of happiness and sadness. Seeing Yeji's expression, Chaeryeong sighed. "Alright, fine, I'll kiss you more than just this once, but only if you truly need it!" she added, finally bringing a big smile to Yeji's face. "Yeayy!" Yeji exclaimed happily. Chaeryeong leaned closer and gently kissed Yeji's forehead, making Yeji giggle as she remembered the comforting kisses from her owner. Then, Chaeryeong softly kissed Yeji's cheeks, one after the other, causing Yeji to giggle again with joy. Afterward, Chaeryeong blushed slightly, feeling a bit embarrassed by the intimate moment.

Flash back first night becoming a human :
Chaeryeong and yeji is laying at the bed still chaeryeong can't believe that her cat turn into a hChaeryeong felt uneasy sitting next to someone who had been a cat just yesterday but was now human. That rainy night, she remembered how Yeji always felt restless when it rained.
Looking back, she noticed Yeji trembling, and though hesitant, Chaeryeong felt pity. In the past, she would hug Yeji to comfort her, but this time felt different. Still, seeing Yeji curled up and shaking, she pushed aside her hesitation and gently hugged her from behind.
As Chaeryeong's warmth surrounded her, Yeji's trembling eased. Chaeryeong, too, found solace in the embrace. Slowly, their eyes closed in unison, and they drifted off into a shared dreamland.

At 11:11 on Friday night, as the full moon fully appeared, Yeji's body began to change again. Her white furry tail slowly returned, her fangs grew from her teeth, and white, furry cat ears emerged from her head. That was all that changed this time. At 11:20 PM, Chaeryeong woke up, her eyes widening as she looked at Yeji.
"Yeji?!" Chaeryeong exclaimed. Yeji heard her name being called and slowly woke up, sitting up straight while yawning and rubbing her eyes with the back of her hand. She looked at Chaeryeong with a confused expression. "What's wrong, Cherry?" Yeji asked innocently. "L-look at yourself!" Chaeryeong stammered. Yeji did as instructed, glancing at herself in the mirror. Her eyes widened in shock at what she saw.
It was her, but in a different form. She had furry cat ears, cat-like fangs, and a long, white, furry tail. Thirty minutes later, the two girls sat on the bed, talking. "Umm, okay, now I think I get it! Today is a full moon, right? I think when the full moon fully appears, you turn into half-cat, half-human!" Chaeryeong said, and Yeji slowly nodded, beginning to understand what was happening.
