After the chat, Chaeryeong glanced over to her side, where someone lay peacefully asleep on the bed. She set her phone down on the small table beside her and turned her gaze back to the girl next to her. Thinking, "You're still cute when you're asleep," she leaned in, kissed the girl's forehead, and softly whispered, "Good night, Yeji." Then she shifted back to her spot, closed her eyes, and let herself drift off to sleep.

Saturday arrived, and Chaeryeong had forgotten to tell Yeji about their plans to go out with friends. Yeji was lounging on the couch, watching her owner get ready. Curious, she asked, "Cherry, where are you going?" Chaeryeong paused, looked at Yeji, and exclaimed, "Oh no, I forgot!" She gave her forehead a light slap and added, "I forgot to tell you we're going out today! Hurry up and get dressed—we're leaving now." Yeji's face lit up as she leapt up and rushed to their room to get ready. Meanwhile, Chaeryeong relaxed on the couch, watching a movie while waiting.
In the room, Yeji was bubbling with excitement. "Yay, we're going out just the two of us! Lia said when you go out with someone you love, just the two of you, it's called a 'date.' Yay, we're going on a date! I have to look cute and give it my best, just like Lia said. If I'm going on a date, I have to look my best! Now, where's that dress Cherry bought me? Oh, here it is!" Yeji quickly grabbed the dress and put it on.
At the living room:
"Cherry, I'm ready!" Yeji announced as she entered the living room in her finest dress. Chaeryoung glanced at her and froze for a moment, captivated by Yeji wearing the dress she had picked out for her. Standing up, Chaeryoung approached Yeji and said with a smile, "You look extra cute today, Yeddeong," gently patting her head. Yeji's cheeks flushed at the compliment, and she shyly replied, "Thank you."

At the Funfair:
Yeji and Chaeryeong stood at the entrance of the funfair when their friends showed up. Yeji's face fell as she realized this wasn't the one-on-one outing with Chaeryeong she had been looking forward to. Before long, Yuna whisked Chaeryeong away to a fun ride, leaving Yeji trailing behind with a downcast expression.
"Hey, Yeji, are you alright?" Lia asked gently, tapping her shoulder. "Y-yeah, I'm fine. I just thought it would be just me and Chaeryeong today," Yeji admitted, her voice tinged with disappointment. "Oh, she didn't tell you we were coming too? Maybe she was in a rush or forgot to mention it!" Lia said, and Yeji could only nod quietly. After a moment, Lia smiled, determined to cheer her up.
"Did you know there's a popular ride here for couples? It's a great way to enjoy some private time with a stunning view," Lia said enthusiastically. Yeji's eyes lit up as she asked eagerly, "Where is it?" Lia pointed to the brightly lit Ferris wheel towering over the funfair. Yeji hesitated, her gaze fixed on its intimidating height.
"Are you scared?" Lia asked, noticing her unease. "N-no, I'll go there with Cherry!" Yeji said firmly, pushing past her fear. She just wanted a special moment alone with her favorite person. Lia smiled warmly and said, "Then let me help you get some time with her."

"Unnies, I still have to pee," said Yuna, pouting. "Me too, I drank a lot of soft drinks earlier," said Somi, crossing her legs. "Okay, we will wait for you guys here!" said Chaeryeong, with Yeji standing behind her. "Oh, right! Ryujin, I need your help. My bra just loosened up. Let's go to the restroom so you can help me fix it!" said Lia, dragging Ryujin along without waiting for her to respond.

At the girl's restroom:
Yuna had just finished, and soon Somi came out as well. "Lia, turn around, and I'll help you with your bra!" said Ryujin, but Lia declined. "No need, Ryujin. Just listen, you three. I have a plan—Operation Chaerji to get some alone time at the Ferris wheel," Lia announced. "Really? Ehhh, I'm so excited! So, what's the plan?" Yuna asked eagerly, with the other two girls listening intently. "It's like this... We need to do it like this..." Lia explained her plan, and the three girls nodded in agreement, ready to go along with it.

The six girls were waiting in line for the Ferris wheel when Somi received a phone call and excused herself, claiming it was an emergency. Yuna, noticing she didn't have a car, offered to drive her. Shortly after, Lia came up with another excuse. She and Ryujin left, explaining that Ryujin's stomach was acting up, and they needed to visit the restroom.
Chaeryeong and Chaeri were next in line when the operator called them forward. Just then, Chaeryeong's phone rang—it was Lia, explaining that Ryujin needed to head home to take her stomach medicine. Chaeryeong assured her it was fine, so she and Chaeri boarded the Ferris wheel together, just the two of them.

At the popcorn stan:
Yuna and Somi grabbed popcorn just as Lia and Ryujin arrived and got some too. "Lia unnie, your plan worked! I can't wait for them to finally be together," Yuna said cheerfully, munching on her popcorn. "Yeah, me too," Lia replied with a smile, her eyes fixed on the Ferris wheel where Chaerji was. The others also gazed at the Ferris wheel, their faces filled with hope.
