Chapter 10

Byakuya ran to the direction of the figure and stopped.

"What...?" His eyes widened.

Everyone followed Byakuya and stopped as well.

"That's..." I looked at the figure.

Byakuya walked slowly to the figure.

"Hi...sana...?" He spoke her name.

The figure looked at Byakuya and smiled.

It was Hisana. The deceased wife of Byakuya.

"Wait, I thought she passed?" Yumichika whispered.

Chii looked away. "In a way... It is and it isn't Hisana..."

I looked at Chii.

"When Blossom destroyed the Soul Society... Those shadows I showed you a while ago, are the shadows of those who died or are dead. Think about it as spirits not at rest." Chii explained.

I glanced at Byakuya.

Since it wasn't a bad spirit... Hisana was a kind woman.

Byakuya hugged her and Hisana hugged him back.

For some strange reason I felt my chest tighten.

"Wait... Spirits not at rest? That could mean... " Ichigo looked at me.

Suddenly, two lizard like Hollows attacked us.

Everyone reverted to their Soul Reaper form.

"Blossom, watch Hisana and Chii." Byakuya said.

Hisana and Chii were both next to me.

"We have to get out of here." I said.

The two nod their head. But, a third lizard hollow appeared and grabbed me.

"Aah!" I screamed and tried to get free from the Hollows grasp.

Byakuya looked and tried to attack the hollow. But...

The Hollow vanished and let me go. Someone had caught me.

"Huh..?" I looked at the person who caught me.

Ichigo and the others managed to kill the other two hollows.

"I knew it..." Ichigo glared.

The man looked at the others and smiled. "It has been a long time."

"Aizen." Byakuya said Aizen's name. Anger was in his tone.

"Great... This means school will be missed." Rangiku sighed.

Everyone had gone back to their giggai and we all went to the park to hang.

I couldn't help but stare at Hisana and Byakuya.

Aizen and I sat next to each other on the grass.

"So, Chii. Why are we alive?" Hisana asked.

Chii looked at her mirror. "I don't know... I wish I knew more..."

"Hold it, so Aizen. You're not going to pull any crazy stuff, are you?" Ichigo asked.

Aizen shrugged. "I don't know. Do you wish for me to?"

Ichigo glared at Aizen, who smiled at me.

"If the two are 'alive', does that mean the other Soul Reapers who's body still remained in the Soul Society are here somewhere?" Toshiro asked.

Chii nods her head. "Ah, but! If we figure the source of this issue, hisana, Aizen and the others will disappear. They will rest."

Aizen would be gone again?

"But, what if this source isn't dangerous?" I asked.

Byakuya looked at me and frowned.

"Blossom, there are times that you have to accept a persons death." Aizen told me.

We all looked at him and I had a saddened look on my face.

Aizen got up and held his hand out to me.

"In this case, let's spend time with each other. Until this ends." He said.

I reached for his hand and he helped me up.

Ichigo stood up really fast and glared at Aizen. "Hold it! We don't trust you enough t even wander around."

"Ichigo, from the looks of it... YOU don't trust me. The others aren't stopping me. I do promise not to harn anyone. After, all I do owe a great gratitude to you and your friends. You have taken care of her." Aizen told Ichigo.

Ichigo's glare faded and he looked at me.

"It's alright. This will be the only time I may ever get to speak to him again..." I said.

Aizen and I were walking around Karakura Town. His hands held mine.

"Aizen, I'm glad to see you again..." I said.

He looked at me with a soft smile. "I am glad as well. I have never thought that you would be normal again. I apologize for causing you such confusion and pain."

His smile faded and a sad look appeared on his face.

"It's alright... Byakuya explained everything to me. I still have a hard time believing it..." I told him.

Aizen lets go of my hand and touched my face. "We never did get married... Are you and Byakuya together?"

I shook my head.

Once I did, he smiled once more abd his faced move closer to mine.

I felt the touch of his soft lips against mine. I couldn't help but wrap my arms around him.

He parted and whispered, "I love you dearly, Blossom."

I smiled and looked at him. Our eyes met.

"I love you too, Aizen." I whispered.
