That Time: Only You (A Bleach Love Story)

Chapter 13

Aizen and Byakuya had been following Orihime and I.

"Do you really suffer?" Aizen asked.

Byakuya glanced at him. "Yes."

The two watched as I started to cry and Orihime was comforting me.

Aizen closed his eyes. "I thought that it would be different now. Everytime a event from the past is mentioned, a memory triggers. I wanted her to forget."

"Forget?" Byakuya asked.

"I wanted her to forget the monster I had become. I didn't want her to remember what I had done to her. How I hurt her... I created that town to protect her. So, she wouldn't become aware of herself as the Hyogouku. I never planned to use her from the beginning." Aizen told Byakuya.

Byakuya looked over at me and Orihime.

Aizen then looked at Byakuya. "How is it Hisana didn't hate me? I was the caused of her death and she knows about it. Shouldn't you avenge her?"

Byakuya shook his head. "I won't stoop to your level. Hisana isn't one to hate either. I'm sure she has forgiven you."

Aizen looked down at his hand. "What about her? Once she remembers everything I have done, will she despise me?"

"I doubt that... If she chose to die with you, even after knowing what you did... What makes you think she will despise you now? Blossom, will always take your side no matter what. She will follow you even. What Orihime says is true. I wish for her to remember. I wish for her to allow me to hold her like back then. I wish for her to love me. Although, between me and Blossom. I'm the selfish one. I tried to force her to be with me. I kept her away from you. In the end though, my forcing for her to be with me... Only continued to push her back to you." Byakuya said.

This made Aizen smile a bit. "You love her so much, don't you? At least, I now know that when this ends... She'll be in good hands. Understanding someone else's feelings towards your loved one makes you realize things. I took her love for granted. I killed her out of jealousy. When I realized what I had done..."

Aizen's eyes widened after removing his zanpakuto from my chest. "Blossom...?"

I felt dizzy, I couldn't help but smile at Aizen. I felt myself cry. "Aizen..."

He watched as I breathed my last air, he held me in his arms and started to shed tears.

"Blossom, what have I done...?!" Aizen cried.

"I couldn't believe that I had done that to her... That's why, I am happy. That she has someone like you waiting for her. I can't be jealous about your feelings towards her. I don't want her to cry again. I know, you're capable of that. To prevent her from getting hurt, shedding tears..." Aizen paused and closed his eyes again.

"Come on, Blossom. We have to get your clothes. I'm sorry I made you cry..." Orihime spoke softly.

I shook my head and smiled. "No, I will try to understand him."

We both smiled at each other and started to walk to my house.

If only I did know how he felt. Maybe, I would understand him more.

Aizen started walking the opposite direction.

"Where are you going?" Byakuya asked.

"I'm going back to Uryu's home. You do live with her, so why not get your stuff?" Aizen said.

Byakuya just watched Aizen leave.

"Ah, I do love my home. Ever since Mayuri moved out, my home's been normal." I told Orihime.

She looked around. "Yeah. Something here would either be burning or going boom!"

We both laughed and Byakuya walked in.

"Huh?" We both looked at him.

Byakuya stared at us with a small smile.

"So, you're letting me..." Byakuya paused.

Aizen stopped and turned his head to Byakuya. "If you haven't given up on her after three years, I know that you're serious about her. Give her back the life I took away. The life that she spent as the Hyogouku. It does cause me such pain to admit it. But, you're the only one who could give her those missing links."

Byakuya walked towards Orihime and I.

"Blossom." He said my name and hugged me.

My eyes widened and I just looked at him shocked. "Byakuya...?"

Orihime couldn't help but smile.

"When the time does come, I will protect you. I want to see your smile everyday." Byakuya whispered.

I don't understand Byakuya at all. Orihime told me that he was suffering. I guess I can see it now. That he did care for me. Hisana told me she would rest if she knew that someone would be there for Byakuya. She's letting me be with him. But, how would Aizen even feel about this? He smiled when I told him I wasn't involved with Byakuya... Now, everythings changing.

"I will rest peacefully, if I know that you can love Byakuya. That you can make him happy." Hisana told me.

"I know you care for Aizen, that you would do anything for him. What difference would your love make? Aizen and I will still go away once everything is figured out. You say you love Aizen. But, what does your heart say? Really?" Hisana said.
