Captain Foster,
Please be aware of the unusual nature of potential outside dangers, most prominently the parasites more commonly known as "Impostors." Any member of your crew might have been previously infected through (currently) unknown means. Telltale signs of being infected are as follows:
-Altered DNA detected by a full-body scan
-Voices in the mind or seemingly losing focus on what was going on
-A 'mouth' over the abdominal muscles. This includes a very sharp tongue that shoots out and is used as a weapon.
-On the same note, tentacles can extend out of a
host's back if they are at stage three or higher
(see Captain's Handbook, Chapters four and
eight, part C). These are just as deadly and you
are advised to stay clear if this happens.-Super-human strength
-Perceiving things that aren't visible to the normal human spectrum (e.g: possible 'ghosts')
-A high tolerance to pain or other stimuli
=========
Note that no matter their background, you cannot risk letting them stay on the crew, as the longer that they have the parasite in them, the bigger risk that they pose. The parasite has proven to degrade the mental stability of the host and has even in one case driven a host to insanity. As per regulation, hold meetings and eject suspected hosts. The dangers of not doing so include:
-The host murdering members of your crew
-The host sabotaging vital pieces of equipment
-The host posing as an undeniable risk to the population at large when they come back
=========
Mission file end. Report to docking bay 67 at 0900 to board S.S Galileo en route to Polus base.
Good luck, and we will see you in the stars.
Signed, Admiral Horizon W. Galeforce
