Being a very professional person you never let your love life get in the way of your work. Oh who were you kidding you had no love life. Being a costume designer for movies, you traveled a lot, therefore not getting the chance to meet anyone and have a long term relationship. Although it's not like you were pushing guys away, it's just, if you got the opportunity to travel across the world to a movie set with a bunch of celebrities, who wouldn't want that? Not to mention the fact that you are getting paid for it. At the moment you didn't have anywhere to go though, no plans or jobs or anything since you just finished your last one. That didn't last long. Within the week you were flying out to a movie set that you honestly could not remember the name of, hopefully no one will ask. Showing up for your first day on set was always the worst one. You were lucky if you ever got to work with the same person twice. Fortunately, you were good at introductions. Meeting the actors was always your favourite part. What? Who doesn't like meeting attractive guys. As you awkwardly walked onto the set the first thing you did was run into someone. What a great start to your new job. "Sorry." You mumbled. "Not a problem love." You heard a thick British accent and looked up to see Thomas Sangster. Your favourite movie was Nanny McPhee so of course you knew who he was. "I'm Thomas." He held out his hand. "I know- uh I mean, I'm y/n." You shook his hand and felt the heat rushing to your cheeks. Thomas just chuckled slightly, not like he was laughing at you though. "What do you do around here?" He asked with a smile. "I'm the costume designer." Why were you acting this way? So quiet and shy, very unlike you. "That's cool, sorry I have to run, I will see you later y/n." He waved and walked away. You blushed for some reason, but shook it off and walked away, continuing on with your day. Later a girl came up to you. You recognized her but couldn't quite put your finger on what you saw her in. "Hi. I was just letting you know that I am having a party in my hotel tonight, just a way to help everyone get to know each other better. You should come." You smiled. Of course you were going to go. Usually at your job it was mainly just the cast that did stuff together. "I don't think I have anything planned tonight, I will be there." You said trying to act normal, but in reality you were super excited.

The party started pretty late but you didn't mind. When you arrived the first thing you heard was music and laughter. Everything went okay, but there wasn't many people to talk to considering you didn't know anyone other than a few people who you had just met briefly. When you started to think about leaving someone tapped you on the shoulder. You spun around to see Thomas with a drink in his hand. "Hi." He smiled. "Hello." You acted like you didn't quite remember him. "Thomas. Remember? The guy who ran into you this morning?" You giggled and nodded, which seemed to make him laugh too. "Actually, I think I'm the one that ran into you." Thomas shook his head in disagreement, but you knew you were the one who ran into him, he was jut trying to be polite. Before you could continue the conversation any further you heard someone shout from behind you "Hey Thomas! Quit flirting with every girl at the party and get over here!" This made you pretty upset since you realized he was probably just doing this to everyone. "I think someone wants you." You said in a quiet voice, you didn't even realize that it was going to sound like that. "Will you go out to dinner with me? I'm sorry I'm usually not this forward but I really want to get to know you." You sighed, thinking this was all probably an act. "Sorry, I don't date people I work with." You tried to walk away but he grabbed your wrist. "Please, cmon, give me a day." You paused. "What?" Thomas smirked. "24 hours, that's all I'm asking to get you to go out with me, if your answer is still no by the end of tomorrow, than I will leave you alone. Promise." You sighed, giving in to his begging. "Fine, but they better be the best damn 24 hours of my life." You smirked and walked away.

The next day you showed up to work to find a box of chocolates on the table with a card with your name on it. You opened the card and it read "If you thought I was just kidding then I'm sorry but you were terribly wrong."
As you read through the card it brought butterflies to your stomach, but you weren't going to give in just yet.

The day grew on and Thomas had given you at least 10 hugs which either caused you to blush, or scream since he came up behind you a few times and left several notes around the set for you. As you were just about to leave, debating over whether you should give this guy a chance, you were stopped at the door. Thomas was standing there with a big cheeky grin on his face and had a bouquet of flowers in his hand. You blushed and hid your face in your hands trying to disguise your emotions. "Hello y/n." For some reason this caused you to giggle. "Hello Thomas." He handed you the bouquet of flowers. "So, will you please go out with me?" You paused and sighed. "Thomas we work together." You were pretty sure he knew where this was going, but still had a smile on his face. "It would be unprofessional." He was still smiling. "Y/n." "I'm sorry Thomas." "Y/n." "what is it?" You asked trying to figure out why he kept repeating your name. "You do realize that this entire time, you've never actually said no to me. If I'm correct the definition of no is 'to indicate something is the opposite of what is being specified or a negative response.' Hey y/n." You twirled the bouquet of flowers in your hands, listening to what he was saying. "Yeah?" When you looked back up you realized he was much closer to you than before. "Isn't it funny how your mind can tell you one thing, but your heart can say something completely different." He said, pushing a strand of your long blonde hair out of your face. At that point all you did was wrap your hands around his neck and pulled him into a compassionate kiss. Once you pulled apart you both just stared into each other's eyes. "So, where are you taking me on our date?"
