Chapter 3 the mysterious man

4 months later

Arthur POV

These last few months have been difficult without everyone around me and after cutting of Sylvie and mine mental link, if fallen back to my old ways slightly I still kept some emotion as a way to keep pushing forward but the isolation has been difficult both physically and mentally.

I was currently on one of my trips to Xyrus city for supplies after entering I headed towards the commercial distract to get somethings like cooking equipment and seasoning for food. After shopping for a while, a realized it was getting late. I decided it was too late to head back to the beast glades so I headed to a local inn. After entering and buying a one night stay, I headed up dropping of my supplies then heading downstairs for some dinner. After sitting down in a corner, the waitress came up to me.

"What can I get for ya." she said wiles having a wide smile on her face.

"I'll just take the beef stew and a water." I answered.

"Sure thing." she answered cheerfully before heading towards the kitchen.

I just sat there thinking abought the last night I had spent in this city to think it's been four months since that day. I really had been missing everyone since that day I wonder what Mum and dad are doing are I should probably call theme Alice and Reynolds now. What was Ellie my adorable little sister doing, did she hate me like Alice and Reynolds are did she still see me as her older brother like before.

As I was pondering all this me food came out and I started eating. It was good but nowhere near as good as Alice's. After I finished and payed I headed out for a short walk I unconciecly headed to the Helstea Manor after I got there and realized I was here I decided to check how they were doing. I leaped into the one large tree in the garden and got up near the top I looked down on the manor that seemed almost dead. I saw Ellie on the other side of the garden she was crying wiles having her back to a tree leaning on it. With my enhanced hearing thanks to my beast will, I could just abought make out what she was saying in between her sobs.

"Why did you leave us brother, why did you leave me I miss you." I heard from what sounded like whispers to me

I then looked towards the house I saw Reynolds in his room hugging Alice wiles she was crying. He got up from the bed breaking the hug he was having with Alice and headed towards the window he looked up for a minute and when he did, we made eye contact I could tell he was looking at me from his eyes widening. As I looked at him, I could feel the tears pouring out of my eyes I turned away and ran of the Helstea Manor.

Reynolds Leywin POV

As I stared out my window, I saw someone I hadn't seen in months my son it was Arthur I was staring at I wanted to run to him to shout his name to do anything, but I was frozen. I saw the tears roll down his face as he jumped down the tree he was in and run towards the exit I was going to say something to run after him, but I heard a voice from behind me.

"Honey what's wrong." I heard my wife say in a hoarse voice obvious she had just been crying.

"Arthur, Arthur was just here I saw him in that tree." I said in a rushed voice.

"What, why was he here." my wife said with slight tint of hatred in her voice.

She still hadn't forgiven Arthur are Grey as she no referred to him as. She had taken it the hardest she had risen him since birth changed his dipper, breast feed him and everything else a mother does for an infant. It hurt her now knowing that she was looking after an adult older than her. But the rest of us had forgiven him we had all been looking for him every chance we got.
