After helping to deal with the mess that had been inflicted by Nörden, you now stroll down the hallways that was once empty during your late uncle's reign.
It has been lively just as it had been before, but...just with added spice.

Loki and Thor stayed for the night in Vanaheim as your guests. However, Thor had to return to Asgard to tend to a few significant matters that needed to be dealt with at the time being. "Brother, may you umm....enjoy, your stay here." Thor mischievously casted a look at you as he said so. His brother caught on and whispered. "I suggest you mind your own business, brother." He patted Thor's broad shoulders, making the tough god laugh and smacked Loki's ass in return. "I know courtesy better than you, dear brother."
Astrid beside you literally gaped wide at the obscene moment. You sighed and pushed her jaw up so it forcefully closed. "A fly might enter." You joked.
Astrid frowned at you and scoffed. "You truly hate me don't you?" She pouted like a little grumpy child. Good Norns.

You rolled your eyes and crossed your arms in a relaxing pose. "For being a total butt wad and apple head? Yes." The classic old nickname you gave her to imply her stupidity, it was given when you both were little toddlers.

FLASHBACK

"ASTRID!" You whined in annoyance at the older girl whom sat on the ground, covered in sand just in front of you. You had repeatedly gave her simple instructions on how to build a sandcastle and she still failed to do it even after explaining to her for the 8th time.
Just how dumb was she that you had to simplify your words so that she could understand. Heck even you used basic everyday vocabulary. Astrid blinked at you, her eyelashes battered as her beautiful crystal orbs gazed innocently at you. "What?!" She retorted back.

You sighed and kicked a pebble, completely stressed out. 'This kid!' Yes, she was older than you by two years but did that stopped you from calling her that? No. "You're an apple head, Astrid! I gave you simple instructions!" You shouted at her and stomped your little feet to the ground. Astrid was offended by your odd and less attractive nickname that you gave her. "Apple head?! What does that mean?!" She shouted back questions. You fumed in anger. You literally feel like tossing her down the mighty waterfall of Vanaheim. Or worse, teleport her all the way to Hell.

"It means you're an IDIOT you dummy!"
That was the last frustrated screech you casted at her before storming off to your chambers.

END OF FLASHBACK

It made you giggle, even now. Reminiscing the ridiculous and joyous memories of the past. The carefree moments where both of you had nothing to worry regarding duties of royalty and being a goddess. Innocent and pure children who only thought of rainbows and cream cookies. You sighed and waved Thor off. Astrid out of the blue suddenly dismissing herself as well, leaving you and Loki to tend to each other.

You felt the heat in your cheeks arose when your memory of that brief confession Loki blurted out in the moments of panic flashed through your mind. He didn't seem to realise that you were the only one with him. He still gazed into the horizon. The beautiful sunset dawned upon him making it appear as though he was a sparkling creation of gold. Your eyes widened, had he always been this handsome? Maybe you were too endorsed with him that you had forgotten how charming he was. He was beyond beauty...no, he was beauty itself.

You held his big hand with your smaller ones. Smiling at him. "Loki?" He immediately turned toward you, that mischevious and taunting face turning softer...the moment he laid his eyes on you. "Yes, my dear princess?" The words and nickname that he called you made your heart flutter. This man was dangerous to your well-being. " 'Dear princess' ? My apologies, prince of Asgard....I used to think so lowly of you." You chuckled as you walked away, trying to escape him. Loki's eyebrows furrowed together. A look of playfulness washed over his handsome face. "Oh is that so? Care to enlighten me?" He hummed, he didn't need to sprint since his legs are longer than yours, therefore, naturally he was faster than you.

A soft chuckle escaped your lips, it was like a symphony to Loki's ears. However, little did you know that his mind was preoccupied with thoughts and slight anxiety. His mind lingered to his confession a day ago. Did he seemed rushed or too straightforward? The moment when he confessed was rather less fitting, especially in aspects of romance. Maybe he had lost his mind that even his deepest secrets spilled out at the sight of you losing your sanity when using your trump card. Loki rubbed his temples as he followed your rushed steps. Did you....not hear his confession? Then again who can he blame, no sane person would abruptly spurt out a confession during their love's lack of consciousness. He felt like throwing himself down the waterfall below.

Then again, he thought that you're the one that made him crazy for you. So he thought that he might as well pin the blame on you.

He scoffed as he glared at your back. "Hmph. Your fault for making me fall in love, you minx if a goddess." He pouted and made a grumpy expression. Using your magic, you merely chuckled as you heard him mumbling to himself behind you. 'Sorry not sorry for being hot.' You rolled your eyes at your own thoughts. "Loki, follow me for a quick bit." You called him over as you slide down the hill and into the dark eerie woods below. He raised his eyebrows at you. "Have you gone mad?" He laughed to himself. You sway your hips as if to dismiss whatever sarcasm he threw at you. "Have I ever been sane?" You cooed back to only hear him sigh.

"I've become a madman for falling for the likes of you." He mused quietly.
You pretended not to hear and hummed, "Falling what?" You teased. He turned his flustered face away. "Ahem! Move along...lets do whatever you want to do. Why wait, right?" He changed the topic regarding falling.  You chuckled at his adorable behaviour. You dragged him into the woods both of you used to play in. Plunging deep into the woods. There the curtains of vines were. Never faltering, evergreen and strong. Moving it aside you took the boy whom has now grown into a fine man back to the place where you both first fell in love.

Loki's eyes widened at the nostalgic scene before him. The same waterfall where you enchanted him with your magic. You tugged into his sleeve, noticing his little daydreaming self. Pulling him near the cliff where he....was enchanted by your every fibre of existence. The sunset loomed over you, the same orange scene like it was back in the old days. The air making your beautiful strands of hair dance, together with the fallen leaves that danced around you. Before you were just a little pretty thing that enchanted his green orbs. However, now you were a captivating goddess whose beauty could not be compared to anyone. The once baby face had now become a mature and dignified one.

He suddenly cupped your cheeks.

"I've said it once, however, you might've not heard it due to the situation. Nevertheless, I'll say it again and even for days to come. My lips won't get tired mouthing the same words over and over until you get it engraved in your head." The way your eyes sparkled at his words were marvelous to him. The way he could make you like how you were now.

"I love you, (Y/N). Always will and always had been. And...I will gladly give up Asgard for your sake. Even if you asked me to destroy all Nine Realms...I would do it. Only for you, my beloved."

With that he sealed your lips together, in a passionate, slow and loving kiss.
You returned the gesture in the same way, pouring out every feeling of endearing towards him. Slowly after a good few minutes, you parted from each other. The lingering warmth still coated your lips.

He suddenly smirked and.....

"If that is inefficient to prove my feelings, my darling, then maybe...shall I go further and pour all of my feelings into you tonight?"
