It was one fine morning in the palace, well that was if everything was normal. You got up and ready in your favorite gown and head down the halls doing your normal activity again. You told Aerynn about everything and she was rather enraged about the entire situation. "This is unacceptable! I knew I couldn't trust that fake smile of his! Not only that he took some of my younger sisters to be his consort, he is ruining my friend's family!!!" She spoke while sweeping violently. You sighed. "I'm really sorry Aerynn... you sisters had to go through this because I wasn't able to act fast." You looked down.
Aerynn placed a hand on your shoulder. You looked up, your (e/c) orbs meeting her sad grey ones. She gave you a warm smile. "I believe in you
[Y/N].... " Your eyes widened at the scene. 'Why is everyone believing and trusting me now...? Why would they?' You thought. Aerynn chuckled at your reaction. "I once said before right? When we first met? One day, people will turn to you. And this is the very day... Princess [Y/N]." She grinned widely. You immediately got up from your seat and gave her a warm hug. "Thank you.... for having faith in me and accepting me for who I am.. thank you..." You whispered in her ear. She patted your head. "You're welcome dear... there, there you need to get some job done." She said as you parted away.
You tilted your head in confusion. "What job?" You asked thinking that maybe you've forgotten some of your royal duties but none. She shook her head, giggling. "Why, saving your kingdom from that "excuse of a king" of course!" She retorted. A smile made it's way to your features. "Right, I should be going then." You said as you walked towards the door. "Wait! [Y/N]... I just want you to know that whatever plan you're thinking of, I'll always support you. So, good luck!" You gave her a smile but then a smirk followed after. "You can always trust me with my plans, my friend.... they are always handy." You purred walking out. You just heard a giggle from the other side of the door. "DON'T YOU DARE DIE!!!" You heard her shout. "I AM NOT THAT STUPID TO DIE AERYNN!!!" You shouted back. You shook your head at the scene as you continued your walk home. It was already dark and sure... as you arrived ,things were already getting ugly.
Once you arrived, you somehow noticed that you haven't seen your mother around lately. Negative thoughts flowed through your mind thinking what could most probably happen to her. You saw Astrid and that man talking about something in the throne room. Without any hesitation you decided to join "the fun". The gigantic doors slammed open as you entered. "Where's mother?" Your loud voice echoed through the room. Making the two people turn to face you. "Why,
[Y/N] ! What brings you here? Just came back from the orphanage I see... Why don't you join our discusion we do need that brain of yours-" "I asked you a question, I am expecting an answer..." You growled lowly.Astrid was a tad shocked at your impulsive behaviour, you were of course to her a calm and more to the "I don't care" type of individual. "[Y/N]! How dare you speak to our uncle like that!" She snapped at you. Your cold gaze now landed on her.
"I am asking a question... it is only polite to answer. Also, let me rephrase that part... he is your uncle not mine." You replied calmly. The useless man now has that sad look again plastered on his ugly ass face. "[Y/N].... we locked up your mother in the underground darkest prison where no one could harm her." He spoke with that false sad tone.Your ears couldn't believe what thy've just heard. Your mother... IN PRISON?! "W-What?! Why in the name of Odin is she in prison?! What has she done?!" You interogated back, really
pissed at the situation. "She has done nothing my dear.... the frost giants attacked our palace just earlier and was planning to take the queen with them, so we had her locked up in prison for her own safety." He lied while placing his hands on your shoulder. You couldn't believe it. Your eyes wandered around.'That's impossible.... our realm's defences are very high. Plus.... why attack the palace and die without any second plans? They could've attacked both the palace and kingdom together with the fellow citizens and destroy the entire kingdom. Even so, they couldn't defeat us all as Astrid is a master in battles, it will take anyone their life to defeat her in terms of pure strength. The only way of beating her though would be a thing that only I know.' You thought.
As you snapped out of your trance, you shoved away Nörden's hands. "Thank you for the information...." You gave a false smile but there was venom in your words as you walked out the room. Immediately you head towards the dungeon, a guard escorting you as always. You head deep into the dark caverns and found the somehow lit up huge dungeon. There you saw an oh so familiar woman with chains around her hands and ankles.
The guard opened the prison's cold bars for you and you ran to hug the woman without any hesitation. "Mother!" You said in relief as you embraced her tightly. Her trembling hands cupped your cheeks and tears ran down her beautiful smiling face. "Oh, my daughter...." She whispered in relief, brushing some of your hair away from your face. You gave her a warm smile. You would cry in this situation but you had more important things to worry about than shed tears. "What happened?" You asked sharp. Her shaky hands now were reaching for yours as she squeezed them tightly. She looked at you with determination so you knew that what she was going to say was very important. "T-That man....! He....He's a liar....!" She spoke despite her trembling voice. "Yes, I know.... but here's the important question... has he done anything to you?" You asked. She shook her head. "No... he looks at me just like how he looks at your father... full with disgust." She explained. You sighed in relief. "If he lays a single finger on you, I will kill him myself. Oh, I will have no mercy...." You growled under your breath. She smiled. "Please... please
[Y/N].. do something to get your father back!" She said shaking you. Your eyes darkened. "Have you talked about this to Astrid?" She shook her head. "She won't listen to me.. she has grown to like and even admire that man. One word to go against him you'll have her walking out your door." She sighed in disappointment."Ahh..... that idiot... how much of a fool can she even be? Just hope that she doesn't fall in love with that excuse of an uncle... " You sarcasm. Your mother giggled slightly. "Whatever your plans are dear... I will support you. This is your responsibility now... please, rescue this realm... restore it to how it has used to be." She encouraged you. Your eyes sparkled with determination and purpose. "You are the Queen of Vanaheim now... so, play your game."
As you said goodbye to your mother, you head down the halls to meet Sir Nörden, starting your game . There he sat on the throne still having Astrid there."Finally that went as planned-"
"Congratulations my dear uncle, you sure have succeeded...." You mused taking him by surprise as he slightly jumped in his seat and Astrid turned to face you. "W-What are you talking about?" He started to panic. You gave an amused look. "Isn't it great to finally being able to tear down a kingdom? Rule over it like a proud idiotic insolent fool..." You hissed. Astrid's eyes widened at your statement . "That's outragous, [Y/N]!!!! " She shouted at you. You glared at them leaning against a nearby pillar. "What are you gonna do now that you've locked mother in the undergrounds-" "[Y/N] ENOUGH!" She snapped but you ignored. "Are you going to head into battle to help the other realms for glory? Only to see that one day they'll bring back your head and place it on the throne of a once dead lunatic king..." You hissed, every word held poison.
Sir Nörden got up from his throne and slapped you right across the face. Your eyes shot wide as your right hand snaked up to touch your now warm cheek. You made a sadistic look towards the man whom just slapped you. "You damned child.... I wish I could've seen your colors earlier. You are nothing put a traitor in disguise!" He growled at you pointing his index finger right in your face. You let out an evil laugh. "Who told you that you could trust me? Who? Haha.... you know... I should be the one sitting on the throne and father would know better!" You retorted back.
In a blink of an eye, you were dragged to the middle of the hallway.
"Arghh!" You shouted as you were tossed onto the hard cold floor.
You look up to see them glaring intensely at you. "You will be thrown away from this realm.... you may jump happily and celebrate with your damned father." He hissed at you.
In a blink of an eye, you were gone.
(Sacrificing your image just to get thrown to the grown like that. Oops~)
