Chapter 3 : Old friend

            Your sister Astrid was of course still blabbering non-stop but you were lost in your own mind right now. "Who was that...? Why is he so like me?" You whispered to yourself. "Who was what?" A voice whispered beside your ear making you jump back. "What the Hel are you doing????" You said panting with your hand on your chest. "What? You weren't paying attention to what I said." She replied. You shrugged and lean closer to her and point at the mysterious guy." That guy... he acts.. like me.. who is he? Him, the one beside Thor. The one with the green,black and gold attire who has a cow like helmet."
You asked making Astrid roll her eyes playfully. "Now look who's talking about boys!" She mocked. You sighed and leaned against the pillar again. "No, no... men do not have long hair." You casually reply with the annoyed look on your face. Astrid was out of words again. "That's Loki. Oh seriously [Y/N] have you really forgotten?!" She asked getting fired up again. You frowned."Forgot what now??" She eye rolled at you. "We have been very close to this royal family. Look at our parents with King Odin and Queen Frigga! What more to say the both of us with their sons!" She explained. Just then it clicked in your head.

~FLASHBACK~
           Back to when your father and King Odin first became the best of friends within all the nine realms. One particular day, you and Astrid were playing outside in your palace's garden
when a beautiful woman with two boys walk to the both of you. Your mother came up behind them."Astrid, [Y/N].. this is Queen Frigga of Asgard. She was my childhood friend long ago. These two are her sons." Your mother said smiling widely. Queen Frigga kneeled down to be at the same height as the both of you." What are your names dear?" She asked softly never removing that smile off her face. Astrid bowed showing respect. "My name is Astrid my queen." She introduced herself. You curtsy instead. "I am [Y/N] my queen, it's a pleasure to meet you." You look up to her giving a small smile. A wide grin appeared on her features. "Oh, what sweet little darlings." She said holding you and Astrid's small hand. "Skadi, you have beautiful daughters. Very talented I see." She praised making your mother laughed proudly. "Anyway, these are my sons. Thor and Loki. Introduce yourselves dear." She said patting their heads.

        Thor introduced himself first. "It's a great pleasure to meet you two, I am Thor of Asgard." He said kissing Astrid's knuckles then yours. You blushed hard at the interaction. No boy has ever touched you like that and it was making you feel awkward but you just smiled. "I am Loki. Nice to meet you." Loki said shyly. You tilted your head at him with a questioning look. He was a little bit of an anti-social person like you. Soon your mother asked to show the two boys around the palace. The first destination you all went to was of course Astrid's favorite, the training grounds." This is my favorite place around! I train here every morning with father." She boasted. Thor seemed interested in the place unlike you and Loki who just stand at the sidelines not even bothering to enter. "Wow! This place is huge!" Thor exclaimed totally amazed. You leaned a bit closer towards Loki and whispered." Here, everyone is born with special abilities and strengths. Astrid here happens to be gifted in combat. She can give a long speech that is way longer than an elf's ear if you let her."

               You saw Astrid grabbed her small sword specially forged for her and took another which was suitable for Thor also the same size as hers."Thor! Catch!" She said throwing the sword at him which he successfully catched. "Woah! This sword actually suits my size!" He gasped. Astrid shrugged." In Vanaheim.. only , you can find." She smirked and leaned back in a stance. "Let's duel!" She suggested. You sighed as you turned around and started to walk away before Loki stopped you in your tracks."Where are you going? Aren't you seeing them duelling?" He asked, his voice echoed through the hallways. You turned to face him. "No, they might probably kill each other. Let's go somewhere else." You casually replied as you continued your walk. Loki frowned. "But my brother won't kill anyone." You just shrugged at his statement and continued walking.
