'Days here in Vanaheim were awful after that monster was crowned king...' You wrote in your journal. 'He brought many woman to sleep with him which I find disgusting... and I can't even sleep properly myself some nights. Vanaheim wasn't like how it used to be. Anyways.. I'm planning on getting father back. I don't care what problems I'll be facing. I will get him back!' You ended. You closed your little journal and placed it back in your drawer. "It's getting disgusting outside... am I allowed to stay with you [Y/N]? Until you get that bastard away." Bagheera's low voice came from behind you. You did somehow noticed he had lip marks on his black fur. You sighed. "I'm sorry Bagheera...." He shook his head and sat beside you. "It's fine... I understand. I do agree it's rather unwise to charge in like how your sister usually do." He replied. 'Animals here were more charming than actual men to be completely honest. Like Bagheera, here.
He treats girls with respect, a gentleman if I might say ,even if I know that doesn't really suit a big wild cat.' You thought. Then your mind drifted off to Loki. 'He hasn't visited us in years now.... wonder what he has been doing? Plus why was he dressed up like King Odin that last time?' You thought tapping your fingers on your desk. "Princess?" Bagheera's voice snapped you out of your trance. A smile crept up on your face and you cupped his large furry cheeks. "You are really sweet Bagheera, you know you can actually be my boyfriend~" You teased him. He blushed." W-Why would you want an animal as your boyfriend? Shouldn't you want a same species as yourself? Y-You know like Prince Loki?" He stuttered however his tail kinda gave way. You couldn't help but chuckle at his cuteness. "Ok honey~" you teased again making Viper giggling with you. Oh how you missed times like this with your family. 'If that man hadn't shown up.' You gritted your teeth.
As you walked down the hallways you noticed how scared the maids were. "Do you peole call this cleaning?!!" A voice shouted from behind you. " Ah! My niece [Y/N]!" He beamed looking at you. You gave a simple nod. "Good morning uncle... is there something you need from me?" You asked trying to sound polite. He nodded in delight. "Why, yes! Could you help me help the ruler of Alfheim? I know how good you are at strategizing out plans and they are about to get attacked from the beings at Muspleheim." He explained. You were a bit shocked at that but kept your composure." They still haven't made up with each other?" You asked . He looked sad. "Well, things happen... Anyway I suggest you get going. Hurry!" He said before storming off to finish his other work. You looked down at the floor and sighed. "Why am I doing this again...?" Then you shrugged. "Well... I can meet Roxalane anyway." You sighed before using your Vanaheim magic to teleport to Alfheim. Roxalane was the leader of the light elves in Alfheim. She was the most beautiful among the rest even they were already the most beautiful creatures there. She was your good friend.
As soon as you arrived at Alfheim you were greeted by elf guards and was escorted straight to the palace.
"So, I presume you are the youngest princess of Vanaheim and the Goddess of Wisdom and Sorcery." One of the guards spoke. You nodded slightly. "Yes.. Perhaps my uncle the king told you that I was sent here to help your ruler?" He nodded. "Yes. We are about to enter battle with the demons from Muspleheim. We are in desperate need of your help Your Highness." He spoke once again. Your eyes widened. "We've heard of you, your way of strategizing are beyond words. You really have a great mind on viewing things logically. Even if you're still young but you've got talent princess." He continued. Ywere utterly shocked. For all your life nobody has ever seen that except your parents of course. Many citizens have perceived you to be just that dishonest individual whom cannot be trusted in ruling your realm. Even so, you guessed that was gone now. Good thing you proved them wrong. Soon you were now standing in an enourmous meeting room. The people who were discusing all turn to you. That is when your eyes landed on a beautiful tall blonde haired elf."[Y/N]!!!!!!!!!!" She cheered as she ran to embrace you. You giggled at her actions. "Roxalane, it's been so long..." You said making her cuddle you. "What do you mean so long? It felt like forever!!" She whined. "So, what's the occasion?" You asked getting serious back. Her ears perked up. "Ah yes, we are having a very big problem here." She started as she walked towards the round table where the others are gathered. There was a map of the entire kingdom and palace. "You see, seeing that we haven't mend our bond with the demons in Muspleheim... and I don't see any positivity there. Here's the entire picture of our realm." She pointed towards the two maps on the table. You examined the map then looked up at everyone in the room. "During the previous battles , have any of you notice what pattern the enemy often uses to attack? What is their core strategy. Their trump card...? " You questioned confidently.
The commander nodded at start pointing towards the map. "Yes. These demons would never attack where it is visible to the guards. That is... from what I've studied myself." He spoke. Roxalane perked up. "So that means.... they often attack from the invisible forest!" She exclaimed. Your eyes trailed the map then a smirk made it's way onto your lips. Your friend looked at you and smiled. "I suppose something clicked princess?" She mused. "Yes.. and please drop the title Rox, you're my bestfriend." You replied.
"Send your most intelligent and strongest men out to hide in the invisible forest. The whole lot will surround the kingdom. Two groups, consisting of 10 each stay outside the forest waiting for a signal. Those who are inside, tie a red cloth on your arrow and shoot it up only if this plan fails. Also do the same with a green cloth which will be the opposite. But you must stain your arrow and cloth with animal blood." You explained.
One guard didn't understand your plan and tilted his head to the side. "Why do we have to stain our arrows with animal blood." He asked. Your smirk grew darker. "To make them think that there are citizens hunting in the forest. To fool them in thinking that no soldiers are aware of their attack." You explained. Everyone in the room looked stunned at your plan. "Let's see if this plan works..." The commander said as he leaded his soldiers out of the palace. Roxalane turned to you before following them. "I'll make sure everything goes as planned." She smiled and walked out the room. You waited with an advisor accompanying you.
Hours passed and you heard loud footsteps heading towards the room you were in cheers were heard as well. Before you could react the door burst open. "All hail Princess [Y/N]!!!" The commander cheered. The king appeared behind him and walked towards you with a bright thankful smile." I owe you, my dear... all of us. Thank you for saving this kingdom. " He spoke. You shook your head in embarassment. "No,no... My king, you asked help from Vanaheim. We are close in terms of friendship, so I wouldn't hesitate to help. My father would do the same as well." You humbly spoke. The king tilted his head.
"If I may ask... why haven't I heard of Njörd in a long time?" He asked. You looked down, your expression darkened. "Sir Nörden now runs the kingdom, my lord... father ... it's a long story... I am still thinking of a way to bring him back." You explained. He looked shocked so you told him the whole story. He stood up furious. "We must do something to end that rascal's life!!!" He snapped. You let out a heavy sigh." Yes... but we musn't take high risk in things." You reminded." So, what are you planning to do?" The king asked. You lifted your head a bit a smirk making it's way to your lips.
"I am gonna break the rules"
