A few minutes later all of you arrived in your kingdom. In fact the bifrost sent the four of you right in your palace halls. Once you arrived your father started to pace around nervously thinking about the conditions in Asgard. Your mother, knowing her husband's personality so well just rolled her eye. "Dear, calm down..." She spoke following him trying to get him to stay still. Your father shook his head, still pacing. "How am I suppose to calm down? Odin might be in danger.... his wife and children... he's my bestfriend." He sighed pressing his temples. "Oh, and are you saying he's not capable of handling the frost giants?" Your mother questioned back crossing her arms. At first your father seemed to be at lost of words, but then he just snapped. "He's getting old!!" He shouted. All of us stood there completely silent. I could already feel Astrid trying to hold in her laughter so badly while mother kept shaking her head over and over. "Father.. but you too are getting old a bit.." I pointed out casually making Astrid burst out in laughter and mother giggling slightly. Father? He just couldn't help but frown. "Haha... very funny [Y/N]..." He rolled his eyes playfully.

Mother gently placed her hands on his shoulders still giggling though. "Come now, let's get some rest... we can speak to Odin the next day." She assured. With that everyone went to their own chambers. I sat at my desk in my blue long sleeved nightgown just gazing up at the moon having someone in my mind. That someone so happens to be the Prince of Lies of Asgard. 'What happened there...? How is he? Well.. I really wish he could come visit soon.' I thought as Viper slithered over to me. "Still awake princess?" She hissed. I smiled at her warmly. "Yeah... just thinking." You replied her placing your chin on your palm. She tilted her head slightly. "Thinking? Well.. I'm not surprised.. you are always busy anyways with your own work but what has gotten you looking so disturbed?" She asked again. You sighed. "It's Loki..."
She immediately slithered close to your face swaying in movement. "Loki? You met him? Your childhood friend?" She gasped sounding rathef shocked. You nodded. "I've been having so many thoughts on my mind recently that I even forgotten that my childhood friend was an Asgardian Prince. I thought he was just an ordinary man or servant back at the coronation... but then .... he happened to be that Loki." You explained. "I really wish he cpuld come and visit us someday..." You leaned back heaving out a sigh.

She chuckled. "Well... he is indeed very packed with work here and there, you do understand since you're royalty yourself [Y/N]... even though yes, Vanaheim is way free than Asgard." You smirked and poked her scaled nose. "That's why I'd rather rule Vanaheim than other realms my friend..." You teased. You felt sleepy so you went off to bed.

The next morning came and well, you did your regular routine which was always fun and you never got tired of it.
The days turn into weeks, and weeks into months as you waited for Loki. You told the children at the orphanage about him and... they couldn't be all the more excited. "When is Prince Loki coming [Y/N] ?????" " Awww.. we really want to meet him!" "Yea!! He sounds like a nice guy...." " Why don't you go get him for us [Y/N]?" They were shooting you multiple questions regarding Loki. Aerynn came chuckling from the kitchen. "My, my... kids... please slow down on the princess. Prince Loki wont come here when he's busy... remember kids, he's a prince. Even us commoners have a lot of work." You just gave her that look meaning she should drop the title. "Aerynn please..." You spoke making grin wider than a child's. "Oops! My bad... do forgive me..." She chuckled. You rolled your eyes at her reply. Again, your day went on as usual. That is until one day at the market. You were walking through the market heading towards the orphanage while getting some food for the kids on the way.

Suddenly you felt eyes on you and some of the ladies were chuckling as if there was something hilarious about you. Well, you didn't want your thoughts to go too far thinking they have the hots for you like you're a tough handsome man. Then, you felt a light tap on your shoulder. With your questioning look, you turn around and as soon as you did so... your eyes widened with shock seeing the person you've been waiting for such a long time to be right in front of you. Loki had a warm bright smile on his handsome features. He wore his helmet? Armour... and he's holding Gungnir. You noticed that he was dressing like a real king, but you shrugged that off and smiled in return. "Now.. someone looks rather astonishing today~" You purred with your hands linked behind you. He chuckled. "Ahh.... please, you're flattering me." He said shaking his head. "Come on, since you're here why not take a stroll around the kingdom?" You grabbed his hand and dragging him deeper into the market. He couldn't help but to chuckle at your actions. The both of you spent time together meeting some people hanging out just making him feel good and very well at home, even better though. Now, the both of you are sitting down on the grass field beside the orphanage, on the cliff edge just admiring the sunset. It was a breathtaking view really. The gush of winds made your hair flew behind you in a dramatic manner. Loki was just staring at you.

He knew you were the most beautiful woman he has ever set eyes on, most beautiful within the Nine Realms. His face turned sad and he looked down at the grass. "I knew .... the real truth of my heritage..." He spoke breaking the silence. You turned towards him, facing him with a relaxed expression. "And..... I am.... not.... an Asgardian." He continued and sighed. Your face turned sad hearing so. He noticed but he just continued. "I am..... a f-frost... giant... from Jotunheim..." He said looking away from you. "I know you feel disgusted with me by now. Go ahead... It's normal for people... even a friend to hate a monster-" " No..." You cut him off placing a hand on his shoulder. He looked at you shocked and saw a sad smile crept up on your lips. "Do you think I am of a royal blood?" You questioned him. He just gave you a shocked look but then spoke. "You look like them ..." He said. You gaze down at your wrist caressing it. "The blood of King Njörd doesn't flow within my veins... neither Queen Skadi's. I have a blood of criminals.... they flow within me now and ever since. My real parents.. wait, just ignore the word "real" my tongue doesn't like saying it. They accidently had me but left me out in the cold to die. Their love is like a poison to me. They were then persecuted by father for trying to kill an innocent child, their own to say the fact. So, I was taken in and raised as an equal to my sister Astrid who is the real heir of this realm. If I wasn't taken in by mother and father... I wouldn't be living right now. So, I love them with all my heart no matter what. They saved my life, gave me the love I never had... I own them everything." You said turning back to Loki.

You were shocked at what you were seeing.

He was.... crying?

A man crying would be weird. He immediately pulled you into a tight hug. "I just don't know what to feel now!!! They loved me but hurt me as well!!
[Y/N].... help... I don't know what to do now... please... just let me hold you..." He cried with you in his arms. Your eyes widened but then you patted his back and pulled away from him cupping his cheeks ( btw he's not wearing his helmet here so, you wont be holding cold metal😂👌) . " Loki.... if you they wont accept you back in Asgard for who you are... then you will be accepted here." You smiled at him.
He looked at you shocked. "W-What?" He asked in disbelief. "You will feel like home." You assured again. "So... come often so that I wont be lonely." You chuckled. This immediately made him smile . "Thank you for being my friend [Y/N]...." He said gazing back at the sunset. With that, you ended your day with a nice feeling in you chest... a warm one.
