Chapter 10: Back To War

           You and Loki were exiting Starbucks after the both of you got your
drinks. "My, that was one long day." The male sighed. You chuckled while nodding at his response. "Indeed it is. To be completely honest with you though... I'm starting to like this realm. Everything here is so fascinating." You spoke with a smile on your lips. Loki felt himself staring at you and yes he indeed was. Your smile it was the same one he saw back then. Back when you showed him that waterfall. He actually planned on visiting that beautiful place in your kingdom again but well it's his own fault for all the mischief he's done, plus going now with that man there wouldn't be too pleasant. His thoughts were cut off when he noticed a flower pot falling right above you. "[Y/N]!!!!!! " He shouted before pulling you aside. The flower pot broke into pieces as it came contact with the hard floor. Loki had you in his arms, holding you close to him.

   There was that feeling again. Your heart felt like it was about to explode and you somehow yearned for his warmth, having yourself wrapped in his arms. You look up to meet those  lovely green orbs which would stop time whenever you see them. Loki looked at you in a way he'd never had before. His features obviously were admiring your own as his hold on you got tighter pulling your closer to him.
It felt like forever staying like this. Soon the both of you were interupted by the sound of a person clearing their throat.
"Am I missing something?" A familiar voice teased. As soon the both of you turned towards the owner of the voice,
you both immediately let go of each other. A bright blush visible on each other's face.

"One of those mortal pots were going to crush her. I just merely saved her. " Loki explained looking away. Your father just smirked at the response. "I can see that..." He chuckled. Your blush got redder than before. "It's true dad." You said trying to calm yourself down.
Your father let out a laugh. "Come on don't stress yourself! What's the problem if I got myself a good Asgradian prince as my son-in-law? Haha!" He teased again. "DADDDD!!!!"
Loki's face redened but a small smile crept up his lips as you all walk back home.

         Later that night, you were all planning to go back to the kingdom and finish this once and for all. You got in your war outfit that you would wear during your trainings. Good thing you learned magic that you could hide the outfit when you came here. It was a skintight jumpsuit in your favorite colour. It had a skirt along with it which splits in the middle allowing you to have more movement. Loki came up to you as you were packing up your stuff. His face looked like an innocent little puppy. " Say, [Y/N]... Why do you need me in this? Am I really useful? I assure you I cannot be trusted in any way." He said with a dark tone to his last sentence. You smirked but kept your gaze fixed on the bag before you. " My father trusts you enough to let you stay with him." You hummed. You heard him groan as he went to stand in front of you snatching the bag away from you to get your attention. Before you were about to interogate him further, he leaned in closer towards you. Your noses barely touching. " I can do anything behind your back without you even noticing..." He whispered. A knife out of nowhere was poking your throat.  A smirk crept onto your lips once again.

"And I can do this..." You whispered back. Loki who was confused felt a sharp pain in his gut. As he gazed down at the painful area, there he saw a knife right in his now bloody gut. He looked at you in disbelief. How could you..?
You stepped back and snapped your fingers causing the knife to disappear and Loki's wound healed. "W-What ..." He awed in shock. "I can do anything before your eyes but still you couldn't notice." You said walking away. "B-But you tried to kill me!" He shouted. "That was just your own illusion my dear, I just used it against you." You hummed back. He stood there completely baffled.
"I am so in love this woman." He said to himself rather impressed.

         All of you headed out as soon as you finished packing. "So, you still know how to go back to the realms?" Loki questioned trying to annoy you. You scoffed. "You're still talking?" You shot back causing him to shut up. "Mind you, my daughter is capable at any sorcery." Your father praised. You used your magic to open a portal that lead to Vanaheim. "Let's go-" You were cut off when someone landed in front of you. "Hold it right there. Where do you think you're taking my brother?" The familiar bold voice asked. You look up to see Thor. "Thor?" You gasped at the sight of him. Loki behind you gulped. 'I should get going' He thought to himself, backing up. Thor grabbed Loki by force trying to drag him away. "W-Wait Thor! We need his help!" You said catching his attention. He gave you a look that read "Are you insane" . "[Y/N], do you know what he has done while he's here in Midgard? Your Highness..." He said the last part bowing to your father.

You let out a sigh. "I may not know what he did but I am sure everything he did had a reason to it." You said sternly. "He put so many innocent lives at risk!" Thor shouted at you. "He's your brother!" You shouted back. He stayed silent after that. " Thor... Vanaheim is in danger in the hands of Sir Nörden. The queen is locked up in the underground chambers, Astrid being her usual idiotic self is on the man's side. The kingdom is in total chaos. I came here to find father. After hearing his explanation after what happened and how he got banished here, I know what we're up against now." You explained.

Thor was utterly shocked. "How.. the message didn't reach Asgard.. " He mumbled. "Father was banished here before he even could tell the news. Plus he has no knowledge on magic." You deadpanned at the last part. Your father's face heated up. "H-Hey! It just didn't want to coorporate with me ok?!" He denied making you role your eyes. "So please Thor.. help us." You begged. He was in deep thought before he spoke up again. "Fine. Count me in." He smirked letting go of Loki causing him to land hard on the ground.
