Everyone had finally arrived back at headquarters, all hungry and exhausted.

Levi wouldn't let me eat until I took a shower.

In fact, he didn't let anyone eat until everyone took a shower. Thankfully for him, Commander Erwin agreed as he also felt as though everyone would stink up the mess hall.

With a towel wrapped around my undressed body, I got my usual attire for the night ready before stepping in the shower.

"Tch. You're going in by yourself?" I hear Levi behind me.

"Yes," I reply, my back facing him.

"I'm coming with you," He quickly says as he takes his shirt off.

"NOPE." My legs scurried inside the bathroom, shutting the door afterwards, and then locking it.

"Brat," He mutters outside of the door as he breaths heavily, "It's not like I haven't seen you naked before."

So then he started ranting angrily about wasting water, and how so much water would of been saved if he came along with me. But I muffled his words by finally turning on the shower.

An hour later, me and Levi arrived to a mess hall full of soldiers. They all had their plates full of food in front of them, all dressed in something other than their usual Scout Regiment uniform. Because let's all agree, those uniforms are way too tight. They surpass the scale of uncomfortableness.

Anyways, Levi and I sat at separate tables. He sat at the superior table with Erwin, Hanji, and a few other people.

I sat beside my friends, with Eren, Mikasa, Jean, Connie, and Sasha.

Of course, the conversations we all took part in were hectic and hilarious. Jean would crack a few dirty jokes that the rest of the boys would laugh at, Mikasa wouldn't give a shit and Sasha would glare in disgust.

We all probably took more than an hour to finish our food, the conversations slowing us down from doing so.

"Eren is a virgin," Jean snickers from across the table.

"So are you," countered Eren. He sticks out his tongue at him, being the little child he acted.

"Girls, girls, can you have your tea party later?" I roll my eyes, and from the corner of my eye I caught Mikasa smile a bit.

"So anyways," Sasha begins, "Great job on the race thing, guys. I think tomorrow is just a day off."

"Idiot! It's training tomorrow." Jean slightly smacks her by reaching over the table.

Then Eren slaps his arm, making him recoil. "You're the idiot. Training is the day after, and the day after, and after, and...yeah."

"God, I'm kind of scared," Sasha whispers, her level of excitement decreasing.

"For what?" I stabbed my dinner with my fork.

"The expedition," She sighs heavily. Her worry is laced within her voice and it's so obvious I want to hug her.

"We joined for a reason," I spoke, "And we're soldiers."

"But-"

"We're fine."

"That's the thing that everyone says when they're not fine," Connie states. He has an uneasy smile on his face, just like Sasha.

" [Y/N]'s right, we're fine." Mikasa says, after swallowing down her dinner.

"Are we?" Eren asks, he gulps down his food and I don't think he realized that Jean licked something and put it back on his plate.

"I'm positive." She replies.
