Jungkook let out a sigh as he shook his head, yet a smile formed along his lip while watching his friend step out of the limo with wide arms and a large boxy grin on his face.
"Aw c'mon bro, you don't miss me?" Taehung's grin turned into a pout, as he neared his friend, his hands falling at his sides. They took a moment to grin at each other before both princes' embraced the other.
"What am I gonna do with you." Jungkook chuckled, patting his friend's back before taking a step back.
"What? You're just jealous that your own people like me more." Taehyung smirked as Jungkook punched him in the arm with a scoff.
"Sure they do."
"Well, we'll see tonight won't we? Whoever has the most girls swooning over them wins." Taehyung winked with a sly smile.
"That isn't necessary."
"Well count me the winner then."
"You know, everything was much more peaceful before you came." Jungkook spoke.
"Is that how you treat your best friend who's come from hours away just to see you?" Taehyung said, looking hurt with a hand on his chest.
"Flying in your royal jet does not take hours to get here." Jungkook stated with a raised brow, trying to contain his laughter, but a grin managed to escape
"You're right, you got me. I'm just here for the girls, since you'll be busy with your own girlfriend, someone has to tend to the rest, am I right?" Taehyung wrapped an arm around his best friend's shoulder, his boxy grin back on his face.
"She's not my girlfriend." Jungkook muttered, gazing at his parents who were greeting Taehyung's family.
"Yet, my friend. Yet." Tae replied. Jungkook had opened his mouth to say something back, but someone nearing them caught his attention.
"Hi Jungkook." Taehyung's sister tucked a strand of her dark hair behind her ear, greeting him shyly.
Jungkook let a fake smile spread across his lips as he looked down at her
"Hi Mina, welcome back."
"Thank you." her sparkling eyes stared up at him, but he didn't care much. Jungkook knew Mina was gorgeous, just like her brother, but in his eyes there was only one girl that his heart was marked with, making him blind to everyone else.
“C’mon Mina, go along, we’ve got some boy talk to do.”Taehyung made a gesture of shooing his sister away, a look of annoyance replacing her previous innocent look. Crossing her arms, she stomped away towards her parents who were talking with Jungkook’s.
“I’ll try and keep her away from you tonight.” Taehyung spoke as they both began walking in the direction of the castle.
Jungkook smiled “Thank you.”
“IF, you finally confess to Y/n, that is.” Taehyung smirked as Jungkook rolled his eyes while they both began walking up the front steps of the castle. “C’mon man, it’s been years, have some courage. You’re like a lost puppy.”
Jungkook shoved Taehyung as his friend giggled, loving how easily affected he gets from his teasing.
“We’ll see.” Jungkook breathed.
