“I seriously can’t believe you,” you let out a sigh as the man who sat on the seat next to you was left grinning.

“You just can’t say no to me. I’m irresistible.” Jungkook shrugged as he watched you drive your car out of your driveway.

“It was only to get my mascara back.”

“Of course it was.”

You hated how weak you were for him, how difficult you found it to say no to his dark doe eyes that shined in the light like galaxies. There were so many consequences that you could face, yet you still let him.

“I want to live life to its fullest.” he had reminded you. “And I want to do it with you.”

That moment you had forgotten about the mascara that he had stolen from you, and were instead too absorbed in gazing into his eyes. The same ones that lured you into another world, making you forget everything else. His words made your heart beat twice as fast as you only grew speechless. You hated him so much.

“Fine.” you had answered, knowing you weren’t even thinking straight. He had happily returned your mascara afterwards.

“Is it hard?” he asked out of the blue in the seat next to you as your car came to a slow stop in front of the red light. You turned to face him for a moment with a questioning look. “Driving, is it hard?”

“Oh.” you tilted your head to the side, giving it some thought. “Not really. You just have to concentrate and be aware of your surroundings. Otherwise, you get used to it.”

He nodded slowly, his gaze shifting from you to the front.

“Remember those three girls I told you about from school?” you asked while he hummed in response. “Well, they’ve been wanting to meet you.”

“I’d rather not.” he chuckled nervously as you grinned in amusement. “I don’t know how I feel about meeting someone who asked how I smell.”

“Well I promised them, and they also may or may not know about us…” you bit your bottom lip as you glanced at him before focusing back on the road.

Jungkook’s brows had furrowed.

“They know about us?”

You nodded your head sheepishly.

“It was an accident. I was with them when the picture from the night of the ball had been leaked. And they recognized me, so I ended up telling them. That we were best friends of course, but they kinda saw through me I guess.” you tried to hold back your smile from the memory.

“Saw through you?”

“I mean, they understood that I had feelings for you.” you bit your lip nervously, not having the courage to look at him. “And they tried to persuade me that you did too, because of the picture. I guess they weren’t wrong.”

“Not at all.” he smiled to himself as he watched your side profile.

“I just want to know though,” you began, hesitant about what you were about to ask. “Were you going to kiss me that night?”

“I was. I was actually going to confess too, but I guess I got a bit distracted.” he held a cheeky grin as your cheeks flushed a pinkish hue. “I really wish I had.”

“I wish you had too,” you thought silently, not letting the words escape.

“But I guess it doesn’t matter anymore, cause I can do it all now.” he spoke as you parked the car in a free parking space in the campus parking lot, slamming the brakes a bit too hard at his words. You wanted to tell him to stop saying such things, but what was the use. He never would, and you couldn’t deny the fact that you didn’t want him to either.
