Rise and shine, beautiful, time to wake up,” Jungkook’s familiar voice sounded through the speaker of your phone as soon as you answered the call.
“Wake up for what?” you grumble back into the phone, barely able to keep your eyes open as the sun cascaded over your face through the windows of your room. It was all way too bright, and you weren’t enjoying it.
“For our one month anniversary.”
Your eyes were left snapping open, growing more conscious by the second. You had completely forgotten, but you could easily blame it on the early hours of the day, considering it had barely been minutes since you woke up from your slumber.
“Don’t tell me you forgot.”
You could already see the fake pout on his face through the tone of voice that he used.
“No, not at all.” you answered, pushing your comforter off your body and placing your feet on the floor as you sat on the edge.
“Good then. I’m waiting outside.”
You froze in the middle of running your hands through your tangled hair, your brows stitching together to make sure you heard him right.
Did he say he was outside..?
You stood up and walked to your bedroom window, trying to catch sight of his figure outside, or a familiar car that you knew belonged to your cousin. But neither were there, at least from what you could see from the side of the house.
“Hurry up, we’ve got places to be.”
Places to be? You couldn’t remember making any plans for the day previously.
You cleared your throat, several questions swimming through your mind.
“Okay, I’ll be there.” you answered.
“Great, don’t take too long.” he spoke before the call ended.
You were left staring at your phone in confusion, startled at the sudden end of the call and plans for the day that you were yet to know of. He truly was spontaneous.
Gathering your thoughts, you placed your phone on your nightstand and rushed to take a shower and begin getting ready, not wanting him to wait too long outside.

You grabbed your white flats that matched your short flowy dress that you chose to wear, and put them on, turning the front door knob open before coming to a stop. A black car with tinted windows was parked right in front of your home, preventing you from seeing anyone inside.
You began making your way towards it, admiring the car that you knew was way beyond something that you were capable of buying.
Had Namjoon gotten a new car?
You hesitantly opened the back seat door, finding it empty. Your eyes drifted to a familiar figure in the driver's seat, his head turned to you as he gazed at you with a pair up sunglasses and a large grin.
“What are you doing? Come to the front.” he spoke with his famous bunny grin, leaving you all the more confused.
You closed the door, and opened the passenger seat door instead, taking a seat this time as your boyfriend stared at you through his shades.
“Where’s Joon?” you asked, taking a look in the back seat to make sure that you hadn’t skipped over your cousin’s tall figure. But he simply didn’t seem to be there.
“You’re asking for him on our one month? Really?” Jungkook’s lips turned into a pout, which you knew by now was fake.
“No,” you replied, “Who drove the car?”
