Title of story read: I Made You
The blurb is interesting, and the last line of it really catches the reader (or at least, caught me). Just as me being weird, I would have to disagree with the comment made about how English is a boring class. It happens to be my favoire subject, but nothing personal. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, and it's even better when characters are the ones that have them. Opinions, along with personalities, are some of the most important things characters can have, and I think that the story does a very good job of creating and showing those.
The idea is something I've never quite seen before, and I like it. I like that the characters have such a close bond, which is something I usually only see in stories where the characters are twins. Both the main character (who's name slips my mind at the moment, sorry!) and Danni are realistic people, and they have flaws! Which is one of the best things characters can have, no one likes a Mary Sue wandering around doing everything perfectly (or really, no one should).
The point of view is first person, present tense, and I don't think I've recently read a story in that POV that read so easily. I didn't realize that it was present tense until the second chapter, when usually they read awkwardly and I can tell right away (just my personal experiance, no offence to anyone who writes in present tense).
The humor interweaved in places was one of my favorite parts of the story. There was something in the first chapter that silps my mind at the moment, but I also loved the difference in capitolization. I've heard it before but it makes me laugh every time.
I read 2.5 chapters, but I would read more (and probably will) later.
Good luck to you on the Watty Awards xxmajaine!
